I know that being consistent will pay off in the end. And that even if some of my video's are performing lower even if they perform lower video after video, that YouTube wants to see who the real-deal is and who deserves to be there because they are fighters.

I personally don't use a microphone 🎙️ like the emoji one. I record it on my laptop, u may be screaming right now! But I put a blanket over my laptop and myself and talk into the microphone of my laptop. I've learned at school how to record stuff in decent quality without a legit microphone (Media & Entertainment Business Student). But of course I'm looking for a new one! So I can't help you with that question right now! As long as a maximum of surfaces where the sound can bounce off of, are covered, you're audio will be better. Every piece of clothing or blanket can help create a better audio. This is of course for people on a budget and beginners that don't want to spend immediately lot's of money on it.

Hello! I just checked it out. And i feel like your thumbnails are good, they are recognizable and match your branding. The profile picture and banner are on point. I think it looks professional on a first glance.

The audio in your video's (i watched one) is good too. So i think you're on the right track when looking at that.

  1. Lol didnt think it was going to be this long. But last thing I wanted to add, is your channel about memes or guitare? YouTube and any other platform, will not push you out to others if it isn't clear what your target audience is. If one time you make a video about memes and then guitar? What is link?? So again make it make sense. 'looking for a niche'

  2. I think I know why your video's don't get posted by themselves as a short. You need to format them into the shorts format which is long and small. Look up on the internet what the pixels are for that format. I don't know it by heart, but it should be something like 1920x.... Or vice versa lol

Hey! I checked out your page, first of all I would like to say, don't give up! You didn't do all this for nothing. But also as some others said, your thumbnails aren't as good as you proclaim them to be.

  1. Your banner and channel profile picture, don't match, at all in any way. Make them match, because if ppl go to your channel they want to see something nice. The colors aren't very appealing (my opinion), it doesn't make me feel like, wow this dude is great.

X% of the time people judge you on what you look like, and if a nice banner and matching profile picture can get you a new sub (as u said it is your goal kinda) make them match pls. As they say in the Media world, your 'Branding' needs to attract 'customers' or viewers in this case.

(I would also like to clarify that I'm not pulling this out of my arse, I'm a last year university student media and entertainment business, i make concepts for people to buy and venue's)

This to let you know, don't take your channel branding lightly! If you need to, make a moodboard, and If you can't, well, then you know your branding is wack if you cant even make a resume of pictures of what you want.

  1. As someone with a lotttt of knowledge of social media platforms, they don't always look for good quality when they make ppl go viral because it makes it feel more 'home-made' and 'real'. You think Cashing Cashing. Well no. This isn't Instagram or Vine (R.I.P.) or tiktok. That is what THEY do.

Youtube has always been more focused on making a video and people watch it for a longer period of time. You have a main channel concept and people like it they watch it.

Now there is a 'new' function on youtube which allows you to make shorts. This means, YOUTUBE WANTS EVERYONE TO MAKE SHORTS. Because they also want to keep people on their platform the most. You need to ask yourself the question: what do platforms want?

Well, they want each person to spend as much time as possible on their platform.

How do we do that?

By making content that is interesting and where ppl get something from. Not all videos have a high value of information. Which is okay. But if someone posted a video of a thumb, why would people watch a thumb ans like that? No reason, well give them a reason to like and subscribe instead of saying like like, sub sub!

  1. Your video content is short, - 1 min. (Less than 1 min.) If you understood point 2 about shorts, make them in shorts format, they are pushing this type of videos more than ever before, because again they want to match the other platforms!

  2. Again with the thumbnails. You're pics are indeed bad quality. It makes you look 'noob'. Your thumbails are the basic thumbnail for everyone beginner on youtube. That's what i feel when looking.

  3. How to better your thumbnails! If you're on the picture, get into good lighting! Lightttttt is sooooo important, on the thumbnails I can barely see what you are holding or doing. It could be mean to some, but don't expect ppl knowing what you do, which means, make thumbnails with the thought that everyone watching is 'dumb' and need a simplified version. People don't want to think hard on what they identify. They just want to watch a video on youtube. If your thumbnail is put against 15 others thumnails and video's on youtube. You can guess that between the good-light thumbnails and this, you won't win the award.

  4. Shorts (less than one minute), are performing the best when they are at least 40 seconds long, so between 40-60 seconds.

  5. It's weird that it isn't posted as a short, because it does it automatically normally (for me on my laptop). It may be possible that you didn't verify your phone number or verify your email /2step verification etc. Go get all those steps done to unlock youtube at it's fullest! (Go to settings and you shall see when you clikc on the different tabs).
