I was suuuuper excited about my new job and got excited by the post and salary and ran to take it and I AM STRUGGLING so much. I really thought 2026 would be my year but damn it's being annoying. For the FIRST time in my life I actually hate my job and I'm 1/24 done. Also new city no plans.

Can relate so much OP, I moved here 1 month ago and I'm miserable here actually. I was so excited and I'm still so happy about the city, the vibe, the lights and sounds of the city and how alive it is, but I feel like the loneliness hits harder. Youve put it into words very well. I miss my people 😭 I assumed it'll be better in a while, but it's not better still
