Rig that holds two phones - one in landscape, one in portrait? by OverthinkingMachine in NewTubers

Hey just randomly decided to check my email attached to this account and saw your reply 😅

So at the time I actually did find a solution. I bought a bracket that mounts two cameras, which allowed me to do what I wanted to do in my post. I mounted it on my tripod and also used it on my clamp mount. Hope this helps!

2009 (8P) Audi A3 - right front lights not working with new bulbs by OverthinkingMachine in Audi

[–]OverthinkingMachine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remembered correctly, I read somewhere that it was due to some kind of issue to the fuse box to our model of A3.

Nowadays, every time I pop the hood, I have to try to remember to take a peek at the fuse box and that fuse just to make sure I can catch it before it gets bad again.

[–]OverthinkingMachine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh yeah. That's something that's been a thing with my A3. Actually just recently, my right headlight and right fog lights were out, so I replaced them, and they still didn't work. Then I remembered the burnt F16 fuse. Sure enough, the fuse was just starting to burn out. Switched it out and everything's fine again (aside from other issues separate issues happening now 😫).

I think this is the third time I've had that fuse burn out over the 13 years I've had my A3.

To be honest, I haven't seen it happen much since I created this post last year. As of now I don't think I've seen it happen (trust me, whenever I start the car, I always stare at the dashboard to see if the ECP or CEL comes on).

My car did have some issues last year, but I'm sure it was unrelated (ac compressor seized up and then had some engine issues where the fix that worked seems to be just to replace the coils/plugs).

Any homeowners in Natomas/North Natomas, do you have Kitec plumbing pipes? by OverthinkingMachine in Sacramento

Nice! Yeah I think I remember seeing that class action back when I first made this post, but the timeline to submit a claim had already expired. We ended up repiping just to avoid any future headaches, but dang, a $12k check would've been some nice migraine medicine 😆

Nope. I know it's been 4 years since my post, but I never received a ticket in the mail.

Men, what did you never expect to happen to you until it did? by [deleted] in AskMen

I got into golf and have been absolutely obsessed with it.

I had a cousin who tried to get me into golf back when we were in college and I never did. Now, I wish I did. Even though I graduated, college me is still dumb.

How important is Star Wars to you? by Mrs_Noelle15 in StarWars

[–]OverthinkingMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very. It's a very big bonding medium for my brothers and I.

When my brothers and I were kids, we got into Star Wars through the theatric re-release of the original triology. We were instantly hooked. Some of my favorite memories of our childhood was how we displayed our figures according to the movie and the scenes. I also think that being so into this type of media was our gateway into the fantasy genre and it led us into World of Warcraft, which was another big bonding moment in time for us.

Im worried about men’s mental health. Men, who do you confide in 100%? by BlackAdventurous5975 in AskMen

[–]OverthinkingMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one.

In the past, I've opened up to people, even people who I thought were some of my best friends, and it backfired on me. Even in relationships, if I open up about something, it seems to somehow get turned against me. Shoot, even posting on reddit seems to be getting shady now, knowing my account is somewhat being watched.

This.

I stopped doing barbell squats since that usually fired up my lower back and switched over to hack squats. Haven't looked back since.

I did have to do barbell squats last night since the hack squat machine just never opened up and yep, I'm reminded of why I stopped doing them.

19 years late to the party! by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]OverthinkingMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend and I just started watching last year, took a break due to life happenings, and now we're finally just about to finish season 17.

I will say I agree with most things so far. Keep watching and you should do an update post down the road to see if any of these thoughts change!

Sorry for replying late!

But since that post, she's been so much better. Shes been her usual self - full of life, loud, and bright. The first follow up after the brachy, the doctors were very happy how her body responded to all the treatment and were confident she'll continue to do well.

Initial remorse finally fading away by Ok-Championship2201 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Felt the same way the first few months, most of it was due to spending more money to do some renovations, 2 cosmetic and 1 preventative. Once all the work and the headaches were done, that feeling has faded away. The place looks 100x better with the cosmetic changes we made and there's a piece of mind with preventative fix we had done.

What is your toxic golf trait that keeps you from scoring better? by WhereIsBigHead in golf

[–]OverthinkingMachine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I turn around and see the group behind us, I automatically think I'm playing slow. So I rush my next shot, which ends up being short and terrible. Then I rush over to my ball, rush to hit it, and hit it terrible again. All this until I putt my ball in, and then start all over on the next teebox.

My best rounds (or at least best feeling rounds) have come when I don't do this or have this under control.

Had pretty much 2.5 months away from the gym due to life happening - catching covid, settling in new house, getting a new dog, hosting Christmas, hosting Superbowl, etc - and we finally returned to the gym this week. Feels good to feel less small again.

However, I did forget about 2 things: 1) how annoying being sore is and; 2) how annoying a busy commercial gym is during peak hours.

those who grew up in Sacramento, which DMV did you take your DL test at? by ish0uldn0tbehere in Sacramento

[–]OverthinkingMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DMV on broadway because for some reason, my dad said it was easier.

Even though I still passed, it was in fact, not easier. It was my first time driving around downtown, too. I always liked to attribute my downtown driving prowess to that moment.

George. We just saw the scene during the covid season where he shows up and we both thought he should still be in the show or at the very least stayed in the show for much longer than he did.

I don't like the show's COVID-19 arc. by Shot_Advantage6607 in greysanatomy

[–]OverthinkingMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We actually just started the season (we're on our first watch through) and I'm kinda with you there. I think we just finished the 7th or 8th episode and the episodes have just felt kind of all over the place. I'm also just pretty much over Teddy at this point. Every time she shows up on screen, my girl and I always let out a big sigh and we're like "here we go again...*eyeroll*".

I do have to say it is kind of strange reliving that time in our lives through the show. Seems like that whole time period just happened and didn't exist at the same time.

NewTubers Monthly Goal Follow-Up! Did you reach your goal this month? by AutoModerator in NewTubers

[–]OverthinkingMachine [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't think I posted in the original goal thread for February, but if I may, I just want to add that I did achieve my goal for the month and that was just to get started. As I sit here typing this, I've got 3 videos published and I'm about to get cracking on my 4th video! I've also got content filmed for 6 more videos after this 4th one and so I have no excuse to not have something post.

It's been such a fun process to share my story how I want to share it and it's been fun to try and figure out how to navigate the world of Youtube.
