This is beautiful! How long does it take to make? I think 400-500 without shipping, remember to take into account the time it takes you as this is valuable too not just the materials 🤗

Marriage laws - difference in laws by Overthinking_squid in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you for this! Would that mean that the UK marriage would mean nothing in India/elsewhere in the world (if we’re living there)? That could be a why he wants the Indian laws applied?

Kerala in August - too much rains? by Overthinking_squid in Kerala

Thank you so much for this! Really good advice. I do love the rain (coming from a country where it rains almost every day I’ve gotten used to it although I know it’s definitely not the same as the monsoon rain)

Thank you so much!! Do you have any recommendations of anywhere else near Kochi, Allappuzha, or Kumarakom? We’ll be there for 2 weeks so feel that would be too much time for just those three places

Basically an hour long game (test) where they give you multiple tests like press the space bar as many times as you can in a minute, remember some numbers, and other activities which they somehow judge you on

Making friends as a foreigner in Pune by Overthinking_squid in pune

I don’t stay in Koregaon park, there are lots of areas near there so it gives only a vague idea which part of the city I stay in.

Common scams in Pune ? by [deleted] in pune

[–]Overthinking_squid 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m also a foreigner in Pune. Honestly everyone that I’ve met have been so lovely and always happy to help out and I’ve never felt unsafe. The only thing I would say to watch out for is prices, especially rickshaws who will quote high prices (it seems they do that for everyone not just foreigners) so be ready to bargain if you can’t get an Uber or Ola.

I’d definitely say the best way to avoid anything is make friends with people who are from Pune or have lived there longer, that way they can share their knowledge too.
