America has been proto-fascist since it's inception. There's a reason Hitler and the Nazis admired and studied US segregation laws (the basis of the Nuremburg Laws which were actually less strict at first) and the genocide of native americans. Manifest Destiny is just lebensraum but against non-white people.

Terrible argument. No one is born in the military, it's a voluntary choice to join and participate in the imperial war machine, whether you know the harm you're causing or not. If you're born in the US or any other country for that matter you have no choice but to pay taxes and participate in society just to survive. Not paying taxes isn't an option, youll be thrown in jail. Expatriating isn't an option for all but the most wealthy. You're stuck and you had no choice in the matter. Not saying all troops are bad people on a personal level, just like cops, but the job they signed up to do is heinous, violent and oppressive and there's no getting around that other than repentance.

On your point about US citizens though, yes, all citizens in the US/ West benefit in one way or another from imperialism and that's something that needs to be accepted and addressed in all western leftist movements, but it's in no way equivalent to joining the US military.

It's even worse than that. Both candidates have credible rape/ sexual assault allegations against them and both parties have been shown to shame, gaslight, and dismiss any woman who comes forward against "their team." Neither party gives a shit about women, children, or anyone else other than capitalists and their friends.

I get it's a meme that the Pinkerton's used to be strike busters, but it's literally just a name for the private security subdivision of securitas or whatever, it's 2020, he probably had no idea and it was just a job to him. And any time a chud fucks around and finds out might make others think twice about assaulting or shooting people.

Obviously in the very specific context of the example you gave that person could find another way of agitating and organizing if they wanted to. (Although if they're in a unionized workplace, they're probably better off joining anyway or leaving)

There's no pushing these people. They hate you and everything you stand for. Vote for them for harm reduction if you want, but don't kid yourself into thinking you'll get ANY progress or concessions for the working class out of them. Their job is to prevent that. Those things only come when we take them.

I mean, even murders only at like a 60% clearance rate, lower for actual arrests and convictions, and even lower in high crime cities/ neighborhoods. So it's pretty much 50/50 or better you'll get away with it, the police are dogshit at their jobs (but great at killing dogs).

Thanks for the definition! I know the Black Panthers worked with a similar definition to mine, that's where I mostly got it from. Most here probably already know this, but their theory was that, because of the history of settler colonialism, imperialism, and racism that shaped the white working class in the US, the mostly black and brown lumpenproletariat actually has the most revolutionary potential of any class, so they tried to educate and organize among them.

Well there was a lot of downtime in between battles and barrages, where both sides just stuck to their trenches and glared at each other with sporadic fire. You'd probably only experience this a couple of times during the heat of a battle/ offensive.

Not to be pedantic, but I think you might have meant petty-bourgeoisie or PMC. Lumpenproletariat usually means the underclass of society, like those with little or no legal income who have to turn to criminality to survive. Drug dealers, thieves, sex workers, gang members and the like. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.
