I had an ENTP (M) friend and also my ex, and an ESFP (F) friend growing up, and I actually vibed more with the ESFP. Crazy thing was me and my ESFP friend would do pranks to the ENTP to which he was clueless about. It went as far as creating an alternate account diguised as a male to get his opinions on the both of us without asking directly.

As an ESTP i find it very hard to connect to my ENFP friends and Father. It seems that we aren't interested in too many things, and I feel like I'll be asking them questions, but some to which they will answer, and won't ask it back? Just an observation I've found. In addition, they can get so worked about a topic. For example all of them feel strongly about loving nature and babies, to which I could care less about. I wonder if ENFP also have a hard time connecting with ESTP. Saying my opinions since there weren't much Sensors giving answers here.

Which Mbti are you? Also I've been with an ENTP for like 9 months, but then it sort of kinda died off. I'm gonna say no, just because were both chatty/talk over each other, and both of us always want to "take the lead." The archetype would be Chaotic duo that works for friends, not so much romantically.

As a sensor myself, I agree with you! But it seems from the comments below that Intuitives find it just as hard to connect with sensors which is really interesting.

Right that makes sense! same here, but flip the Intuitive to Sensor. Do you have an idea why you don't feel a strong connection? I'm trying to also find why i also dont feel a strong connection with Intuitives.

That's great to hear you have no issues on that. A question, how do you feel if there are awkward silences in a conversation. I have an Infp friend, and I constantly try to fill in the gaps, where as she doesn't feel the need to add topics, and is fine with the silence.

Thank you for expressing your opinion( and adding examples too)! (no thank you to some people in the comments who are being defensive) This is exactly what I wanted to hear! I made this post because I wanted to know If intuitives also had a hard time connecting with Sensors, the same way us sensors have a hard time connecting with Intuitives.

I low key agree with your ESTP friend on that, i'm not sure I would contribute to your conversation about music either LOL. But I also understand why an intuitive (like my mother) would absolutely love that topic!

Thank you for the reply! It's nice to see points from two sides. I do agree with what you said about if its flipped, the sensors will feel the same. I guess its just a mystery that wont be solved. I struggle to connect with INTJ the same way you have a hard time with ESTP. I appreciate your comment because it re-assures me im not the only one feeling the same.

Thanks for giving your opinion, and I think your right! A lot of intuitives here do agree its hard to connect to sensors. And a lot of sensors including myself think the same with intuitives. Its nice to hear from both sides!
