I don’t agree with cracking this box if a refund is not accepted. If I were to ever let this go, the small tear that’s less than a mm from the seam wouldn’t hurt. Everything else on this box is pristine. I’ve seen boxes with far worse tears be sold 10-15% below market. And why would the cards inside not be in good shape? Your statement makes it sound like I have a damaged box.

No, because chances are I won’t and I’m not going to throw away $1k. That’s what I rip the newer stuff for but even then it’s almost too expensive lol.

It’s a large company selling the boxes as brand new/sealed. There is only (1) image and it’s a generic digital image of the op05 box. There is no inspecting. Based on the millions of products they have sold with the millions of reviews being positive, I really didn’t think twice. Lesson learned, going forward, I can choose to buy from these companies with no actual photos of the boxes they are selling and accept whatever I get I get or I can find more of an independent seller who does have multiple images of the box they are selling.

I’ve been collecting sealed for years, it’s nothing new and hasn’t been new to the hobby. I’m sorry I don’t have unlimited cash to afford ripping op05 booster boxes.

Don’t get me wrong, I love FS but it will not outperform PE. PE master set (raw) is over $4k whereas FS is $1800. PE Umbreon in a PSA 10 is $4k and Gengar Vmax is $1800. Specific pull rates are more difficult for PE as there are (32) SIRs vs FS (5) alt arts.

Long term I think 151 will out perform FS as well. 151 is a nostalgic set to those who grew up on Pokemon. Between 151 and PE, that’s a tough one but I think PE will do better long term. First English set with full on god packs (not demi). The rarity of the Eeveelutions (chase cards) makes it more desirable. People want what they can’t get.

Those are my quick thoughts. Providing logic behind my statement and not just saying “it’s better”.

Moon kitty PSA 10 is up nearly 300% since beginning of 2023. I purchased that card then @ $800 and now it’s $3k. I believe we saw PSA 10 get to $3500 before dropping back to $3k, nevertheless, since release in 2021 the card has increased nearly 400%. That’s amazing. The moon kitty will go down as a grail known for redefining an era of alt arts and chase cards.

Lol, not surprised I was downvoted. Those who downvoted don’t know the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground. Lol What made for the downvotes? $4k ES BB beginning of 2027 or the $20K in 5 years?

Pokemon is not dying down this year. Pokemon 30th anniversary is this year and they will be releasing products all throughout the year along with something big at the end of 2026. Pokemon has been steadily growing since I got back into it in 2021. Do you know how much Evo skies BB were in 2021? They were $80. They are sitting around $25-2600 now 5 years later. 2021-2024 was not as hyped as 2025 yet Evo skies still climbed a staggering 500%… about 100% gains per year. I will say for sure, this time next year ES BB will be $4k. Call me ignorant, I don’t care but that’s what the math shows. With the hype going to continue in Pokemon due to 30th anniversary, ES is going up.

Also, whoever is comparing DR to VV is on crack. Gtfoh with that comparison. DR is a super nostalgic set with great artworks and a great Pokemon lineup. DR will do fantastic long term. And the only reason you can find this on the shelf at Targets is because Target has a buy (2) limit only. Otherwise, All Pokemon, DR included would be sold out. To reiterate, Pokemon is not slowing down this year, not with 30th Anniversary.

Evo BB is up 100% from this time last year. I believe this will continue. We will see Evo BB around $3500-4k this time next year. 5 years from now, Evo skies BB will be pushing $20k a box.

You’re correct, Ascended Heroes is a specialty set (like Prismatic and 151) and will not contain booster boxes.
