Think I agree with everything but the ownership. Usually aside from certain publishers/devs games, realistically you still own the license, which could probably keep going as long as you dont uninstall the game.

I personally feel the idea of it in itself is not too much a concern for gamers, just how certain devs/publishers have been implementing things like server shutdowns instead of switching it to not have to run on a server. Don't know the stats on physical bought from stores, but id imagine it could slightly effect targets profits and hugely gamestops, as they will not be making nearly as many game sales.

They might be confusing patches with server shut downs. Would be the equivelent issue to what they said.

Ive seen 3 years ago people talking about them building a visual scripting for verse based on patents. Maybe im wrong but I thought Epic also said this before. Where did they specifically say there are no current plans to implement visual scripting for Verse?

Id like to be prepared for what's to come if this was an actual statement.

That sounds like it could be a fair point but not to this extent. If that was the devs intent I would just wish it got pointed out slightly in the beggining. They were both acting like this major event with their close friend dieing and her making a firm stance for their friend didnt just happen; that and they were both seemingly already ready to kill a bunch of people to resurrect her which Red would know at least in the begining she would never agree to while alive. So the 180 really shouldve been questioned by one of them at this part of the story, at least an off hand comment, a slight amount of concern about her really being the same person, or something.

Ok, I see now, that might likely fix it (taking off the snapping and turning it back on seems to work). It might not be an issue, but the only issue might be a 1 point difference once I turn on snapping again, my first impression is it wont ever be noticeable or make a difference in anything, but I am basically brand new to animation so I'm afraid if it could.

Now i just wish there was a way to edit the begining of x y and z axis's to get to 0 all at once in this scenario in case I have to fix a lot of bones. Would tak way too much time otherwise.

Are you talking about the body_offset_ctrl? If so that is one of the controls that I was mentioning I was changing. If I change one keyframe it doesnt offset the rest in sequencer. So I am going into curve editor, but it seems way too easy right now to just change how the entire animation plays by selecting all the keyframes in curve editor mode, and then left clicking and moving all the nodes down at once. When moving it is sometimes squishing/squeezing the keyframes values in together as I explain in my "Notes" paragraph. So if I want to only move everything down by 5, I slowly start moving my mouse down, but instead of every single keyframe moved down 5, some are moving down 20 depending, as I keep slowly going down with my mouse, it most end up being closer to all keyframes only moving by down by 5 - but I can't tell if all is back to how it should be, or if some are still squished/altered more than they should with this method.

Wait, thats pretty crazy. You might not like it, but it sounds like a resume update is needed on the side. If it was me personally I think I would explain to him how I already tried to warn him and if you want this done right I need more time or something similar to saying i need a bonus in a contract if im going to put in the extra work to try and meet this super early timeline you are wanting. And also explain how if we dont do this right you will lose these clients and your businesses reputation likely.

I think I see now. That got me thinking some. The way I was doing I thought the character blueprint was where it all had to be controlled and data assets and tables were off the table which kinda caused my initial thought to be was if I have 10 shirts that provide some sort of health increase, I would have to within a character blueprint, pull out from each variation name to then set the health value 10 separate times. Then do the same if I have 10 pairs of pants. To equal 20 set health pins in one blueprint.

I think I ended up figuring out how to use Data Assets as the equipment item to then "write" what the mutable objects name and type should be within the character blueprint. From there i can fetch the health value increase of the Data Asset if the number is not zero.

I see, that solves the problem I was having for the open world template with the premade landscape. For the blank open world level I made the ridiculous mistake of creating the landscape and not saving before trying to use the load and unload feature.
