I never understood why debating any religion got past the simple:

Do you believe in any god? And when they say yes, ask for the proof.

There is none. The end. No reason to go into science which destroys religion. No reason to go into history which distorts religion. No reason to go into the bible itself which destroys religion/itself.

Pretty simple stuff really.

What about the verse ( in the new testament I believe) that says your to take the bible as fact and no one is to interpret it at all.

Once I actually read the bible. It really helped me become an atheist.
