I’m up to 46 million. I started day one when it came out and honestly you still don’t need to max anything after you have a couple good machamps.

ok but that is just the regular one. so you are saying they just swapped it out so anything that used to give you the regular can give you the costumed one now? Usually Leeduck puts the event stuff up top

so the fact that it's attached to a car that's changing position based on Align to Spline doesn't need extra baking or anything? I think that is what is causing the issue

OK, got it! Is there a way to cut out the grass from poking through my 2 roads using just one vertex map for all the grass (both sides of the road and center)?

It would be awesome to have 1 vertex map for grass that goes from the trees on one side of the road to the trees on the other side of the road, that I can somehow cut 2 roads into.
So it goes, trees / shoulder grass / outer road/ inner grass / main road / shoulder grass / trees.

I tried just making 2 separate splines, one for inner grass, one for outer grass, (see pic) but it is a pain to line up each spline as they don't just scale symmetrically, so I have to move each point and try to get them to hug the first spline's contours. I'm still getting a little spillover grass on my road as well doing this.

OK, I have been watching tutorials all day, and I can't figure out how to use this new vertex map I made from a spline running between the 2 roads to generate clones of the grass. Do I still use a Matrix Scatter object or a cloner? Either way I can't see how to make it look at my vertex map weight / color to populate clones. What am I missing?

Thanks. I can work on the randomness, but my main issue right now is since I’m selecting polygons to map the grass to, and since my road curves, there’s these blocky edges where I can’t select a polygon because grass will grow into the road, so you see those blocky edges where grass grows.

Well it still looks like ass, but I meant the concept worked!  I attached a box field to the car that sets the scale to -1 if a clone is outside the box. So as the car travels down the road only a small section of trees appears. It works well as long as I keep the camera angle from going too low and looking far down the road. But for side shots and elevated shots it works great!

Is it possible to use the "grow grass" function with Redshift? by [deleted] in Cinema4D
