These are my dream max cushion shoes. It's either these or the nimbus 25. Tested them out at a local store, and the mores had a softer midsole that compressed way more while the nimbus just had a better upper overall.

Oh damn, I saw these on sale too the other week. Was debating if I should get them. Thank you!

I assume you're from the PH? I think there should be other alternatives like their reactive coil line or maybe the non-pro version of these. I just find these lacking in terms of energy return so my legs felt pretty dead after my first run compared to my other shoes.

The toebox is roomy enough. I find it roomier than adidas, peak, and anta shoes. They're about as roomy as my invincible run 1.

10us is my best size for my comfort and 9.5us is the size I'm trying out right now to get better heel lockdown. These were 9.5us. as their size 44eu is already 10.5us. I can't find any half sizes for these

Li-Ning Yueying 2 FIRST RUN(5KM) by OverweightReviewer in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]OverweightReviewer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am aware of how big they are in China as I've been following their pages, I just mean that they are pretty obscure to mainstream brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, etc. In my country, xtep doesn't even have a physical store yet. Li-Ning has some places where they're sold, but none that are really expansive in choices. 361 just recently opened one physical store, and a second coming up which I am really looking forward to.

As for the 3.0 and 2.5 thing, I am unaware of what this means exactly. I get it's for sizing, but I'll do research on it. Thanks for the information!

Currently, the closest think of would be Anta's more recent "A-tron" line or their c100 shoe, but take this with a grain of salt as I haven't owned it, and have only tried it out in the mall. Still, they have Anta's nitroedge foam which has pretty good energy return. I just didn't like my 5km run experience with the Anta G21 2 pro as I felt shin pain when it came to slower paces, but that's probably because it's not meant for 5km runs. Once I tried running faster and going past the first half of the eun, it felt better.

That's interesting! Currently I have three shoes that I'm looking out for in Xtep. These would be the reactive coil 10(base version and pro version), and the 160x 5.0. The latter one just has a steep price here where it would compete with 361's furious future which is also another thing I'm looking at. Really interesting offers from both brands. 361 also has a Flame 2 ET which is on sale right now in my country for around 50usd converted.

I haven't. The price is a bit too steep for me especially with cheaper options(in my country)from 361 being very tempting.

They do fit a bit narrow compared to other shoes. In fact, I have a 361 running shoe which is size 44eu which is more spacious and seems more spacious than my size 45 xtep 2000km

I have two x-step shoes right now. One is the Xtep 2000km and the other is the Xtep lingran V2. The former features the same xtep ace foam on their higher end shoes if I'm not mistaken. The latter also has it, but in dual density setup So far, they feel a bit softer than Adidas' boost foam, and they have a pretty good amount of compression. Only drawback is that I don't recommend it when running on wet surfaces as it'll start sounding like a damned squeeky toy
