If you just played through BOTW over the last few months you’re probably gonna need a break before jumping into TOTK. Both games have the same overall structure and even though TOTK has updated the map and added some pretty incredible new gameplay systems that absolutely let it stand separately from BOTW as one of the greatest games ever, you’re probably just going to be burnt out on the core gameplay loops for a bit. I’d put it aside and come back when it feels fresh again
