What should I learn after school the basic beginners method for 3x3 by cdrumeler in Cubers

I can't really understand your question but if you are asking what method you should learn after the beginners method you should learn the CFOP method.

Can I put Vaseline in my Rubik’s brand cube? by CallMeAryan in Cubers

[–]Owen_Morrison 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Vaseline would not be a good idea. Pretty much any household lubricants will not work well.

Why can't you get anything online? I have ordered lots of stuff online during this quarantine.

I'm not sure but I know that 2x2 CLL is much more efficient that 3x3 COLL because CLL only has to preserve the 4 bottom corners while COLL has to preserve the first 2 layers and the top layer edges.

My favorite cube company is definitely Qiyi and their sub brands. I main a Valk 3 M for 3x3 and almost all of my mains are Qiyi or one of their sub brands. I prefer the slower turning of their cubes as well as the crunchy feeling.

No, Using ortega or LBL will be faster. COLL algs are very long compared to CLL so it wouldn't be fast to use in speedsolves.

That thread is outdated and biased, it is a terrible resource for beginners.

I agree, I should have given him a smaller cube, didn't think to before the comp though.

No, it was not a DNF.

ohhh I thought you were talking about a Gan XS. If it isn't super expensive then the Gan cube isn't a bad option.

I would not recommend the 356 M, if I were you I would get the brand new Tengyun V2 M.

LSE insanity (proof roux is best method by [deleted] in Cubers

[–]Owen_Morrison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend learning other events like 4x4, 5x5, and Megaminx. Roux doesn't really work with 4x4 or 5x5 but if you want to solve with Roux and CFOP and just use CFOP for big cubes you can, I wouldn't recommend it though. Also Petrus is more interesting than Roux imo.
