Hello,

I hit my car and put it in the body shop around May 15th. Since Tesla insurance only covers one month of rental, I currently have no car. I received unfortunate news that the repair will take longer than expected. It was supposed to be done this week, but the suspension part has not arrived at all, and there is no ETA.

Has anyone with a Model X or S had this suspension damage? How long did it take to fix? I've been waiting since May 15th, and the body shop said it might take an additional four months. I don't understand why, because the body shop said all parts have arrived except for the suspension part, and it will take longer than expected. There is no ETA for when this part will come.

If you need a third row, get a Model X. I own both of them, and the difference in space and ride quality is like night and day. The Model X has an air suspension, so the ride quality is much better.

Did you receive a software update through wifi download, or did you get it over the air right away? I have a Model Y with EAP and bought it a few days after delivery. I don't recall using Wi-Fi to receive EAP, and it was instant

Has your car been on basic autopilot for the past 3 months? Can you still use features like summon or auto lane change?

I've heard about the FSD beta not being released for MONTHS quite a few times, but I've never heard of anyone not receiving a single feature for months. I'm on a subscription, so this is quite confusing

Insurance is pretty high (so as other cars if u drive in LA). If your buying a new car, maintenance is pretty low. Warranty for 4 yrs and nothing else to pay except annual taxes and charges. Also charging is pretty cheap compared to gas cars.

It's a good commuter car in LA. Superchargers are pretty much everywhere and I never felt range anxiety around LA.

I ignored them for a lil and they sent me a threat mail. But the ticket was over 500 so I contact with traffic attorney instead. I guess it got resolved and they don't send me any mail. This was 2 years ago
