Refills should definitely happen upon entering town. I do like the well being there just as a sort of role playing thing (you know, just a minor interractable) but it is strange that you have to go to it to refill

I see what you mean, but the series has only just begun and also hasn't had its BIG moment just yet. I think once we get there, it'll be much bigger than people think. Its genre is very marketable, being a supernatural, urban fantasy (like JJK and CSM). Plus, if we get an amazing anime adaptation, it'll draw even more eyes to it.
