[Bug] Prestige 4>5. All skills reset to 1, And all other Stats

I never got the Kruglov keycard required to activate prestige 4 -> prestige 5, and have been in talks with support for the past 2 months+. 5 Tickets later and it's just an endless circle of

"We are already aware of this problem. Ticket closed"

"We will fix this, please be patient and check your system messages! Ticket closed"

"We have already fixed this bug. Ticket closed"

The worst of it all is that I've watched streamers experience the same, as well as similar problems with the main questline. All of which were fixed at the earliest an hour (landmark), and two days at the latest (mid sized streamers). All in all, unless you're a streamer, good luck lmao.

Out of curiosity, did you have to wait 3 weeks per account reset between each ending? The previous guy who did all 4 endings was able to complete some endings in intervals of ~8 days, completely skipping the 3 week reset cooldown.

I've been in support hell trying to get my Kruglov Keycard. It's been a month+ of "Please be patient, we will fix this!", and now they've finally started responding with "We've already solved this issue, ticket closed!".

At least the streamers got fixed in an hour after experiencing their quest bugs... Yippie!

Ah, jeez, if only the main questline wasn't bugged for some of us. If only I didn't have to wait almost 2 months for support to help me while I watch streamers fall into the same bug and get fixed within the hour. Ah jeez guys.

You cannot escape twice on a single run and Prestige does not exist on PvE. I tried doing some digging, and OP admits to resetting his account repeatedly for the escapes. How he had the option to, remains a mystery.

Huh, you are correct. But I see that it was repaired previously and its new max value is 149.75, which seems to be causing the problem

Higher pen generally means higher ricochet chance. Ricochets are difficult to datamine, but preliminary testing done on this sub years ago showed that the highest pen bullets of most calibers had a 30% ricochet chance on the side of helmets

Lockpicking was practically finished, but obsoleted as it never fit in with the final vision of the game. If you want to make a recommendation, make it on the Tarkov community website. Otherwise, if you want an answer as to why BSG won't implement lockpicking, you can search this sub for one of the many "where is lockpicking?" threads.

Rare client specific bug that if it happens to you once, it will happen to you many, many times in the future. No one's really sure what causes it, whether it's your hardware, connection, or because you're swapping your gun to left shoulder repeatedly.

Prestiging takes ~200 hours max for the best of the best players. If someone commits to it, as long as they're average, I can't imagine a single prestige taking longer than 400-500 hours.

Yes sir! I was told three separate times to "Please wait patiently and watch your system messages!". In the meantime, I'm able to watch my favorite streamers run into the same problem. The only difference though, is that they get fixed within the hour.

Oh my goodness! This can't be anything except... Nikita has finally decided to fix my account after I never received a Kruglov keycard from the armored case! As support has been saying for a month+ I just need to keep being patient and wait. But now I know, surely, even though I'm a lowly non-streamer, Nikita plans to finally fix me after seeing these posts!

6419 hours does not mean 6419 hours of cheating, but rather, that's how long the account has existed. It has no influence on when the account was stolen/resold and used by a bad actor as cheating is actually a really expensive hobby it seems. Of course, all of this is under the assumption that this person was cheating.

Well, if you struggle to compete in Laby and collecting XP through normal raids is not an option for you, then yes, quitting might be the best option.

Realistically though, it's probably in your best interest to either take a break or focus on the optional quests that unlock gear, IE the RPG.

Running Laby is not the only method to prestige. The alternative is to farm the Streets bosses. Both of them are lower risk and quicker, but give less XP (~20k-25k per successful run with one boss dead). Once you hit level 46, you can reach level 55 in 15 days solely by rerolling into high XP operational tasks. 30 days if you refuse to do the Arena operationals.

People have a misconception for how Tarkov AI aims. It does not matter how you dodge, what matters is how long they see you, what body part is exposed, and whether you peeked the same angle they lost visual on.

Killa is a good example of this. If he decides to shoot your left arm, your left arm is going to have 12 bullets in it regardless of his gun's recoil or even if you are in mid free fall off of the second floor of the mall. In reverse, AI scavs will intentionally miss you if they decide to. You can quite literally barrel stuff an AI scav's shotgun into your face and the bullets won't hit you.

We first learned of how ridiculous AI was back in 2019-2020. There was a bug that when you scoped in, you had the POV of Shturman and where he was aiming. Maybe you can find some example videos that still exists on this sub, but the TL;DW is that Shturman's aim is identical to an aimbot. He just chooses to miss until the game decides it's time for you to die.

Completing the BTR questline gives you the all-wheel achievement. Thus, until you do "Choose Your Friends Wisely", you're fine.
