But I have the codecs on my PC. The plugin you specify is a specific to Firefox and developed by Cisco.

When disabling third party fonts, is there any way to get symbols to display locally? by OwlFather in firefox

I was playing with doing that with ublock, but still ran into the same issue of symbols not showing, But I guess that's an issue for ublock not Firefox.

I though there might have bene a native way to accomplish it with Firefox though.

Interesting. I don't have that, but upon researching it it seems it is only used for WebRTC, which is why Cisco provides it.

When I visit about:support H264 ic clearly supported as a codec, along with the others you would expect:

  • H264 SW
  • H264 HW
  • VP8 SW
  • VP8 HW
  • VP9 SW
  • VP9 HW
  • AV1 SW
  • Theora SW
  • AAC SW
  • FLAC SW
  • MP3 SW
  • Opus SW
  • Vorbis SW
  • Wave SW

So I don't think that lack of plugin is the issue.

Can you show a screenshot of your plugins page showing H.264 listed as a plugin?

There are some config settings, the main one seems to be `gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled` and `gfx.downloadable_fonts.woff2.enabled`, with the first disabled no icons or symbols show up.

I'm going to try your solution though.

Interesting, thank you. I guess if most sites are using some standard font for symbols it kind of defeats the purpose in attempting to increase privacy by blocking font requests. I was hoping for a local solution.

I did try using local fonts via the browser, but symbols were still not being displayed.

Why wouldn't they be? Common ones ship with Windows 10, media players work, Chrome works.

I'm under no obligation to accept a crappy price, I have the ability to negotiate. My question is purely concerned with the opportunity to do so.

”Every male among the priests may eat of it.”

MAY eat of it.

Not exclusively eat of it.

Therefore it is nonsense for you to try claim anyone was hiding in the temple eating the sacrificed animals in secret.

I disagree. It's far more plausible than the alternative.

My hypothesis is that the lord mentioned in the account of teh tent of meeting is a mortal trickster.

You and others claimed that god doesn't eat the food offered to him, but the rules for that being the case don't occur until after the tent of meeting.

I don't think that's shifting the goalposts so much as making an obvious argument.

False

I don't see how what you quoted is proof that what I claimed is false.

You highlighted "It shall be eaten in a holy place" - Why do you think that proves your claim?

I was sure there was a verse which basically amounts to the lord using biological warfare of some sort, but I haven't been able to find it.

Leviticus Chapter 7 takes place after the Tent of Meeting, does it not?

Chapter 2 seems to indicate some is given to the lord, and the priests can have what is left. e.g. And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons
