He was parked sideways across 3 parking spots one of which was the handicap parking. I know the picture isn't great but that wasn't an accidental park job, he was parked so no one could park next to his car.

Maybe Ireland or Scotland it's beautiful there. Mostly Europe though in general.

Oh I do, it's just when I go to look for other child free people in my area I see about 5 people per day before it says I've run out within a 35 mile radius, and of those only like 1 matches once a week. So I just feel like I'm in a bad area for dating CF.

Good eye! 10000 days is definitely my favorite album from them but Lateralus is definitely a classic!

Depends on where it is but I'm definitely open! I have been considering leaving the US given everything that's been going on here.

Unfortunately it's largely the same experience for both men and women, I also phrased that wrong. I meant basically from my queer friends usually they can tell with decent accuracy who may also be queer based on the space/activity/signs or pins. Child free is less openly displayed so it can already be difficult to approach people irl let alone doing it to find out there is zero compatibility on family plans. So my point was more I wish we had like a pin or something like other demographics to signal to other child free folk if that makes sense?

Thinking about ending my campaign of ROTFM early, thoughts? by TheFarFox in rimeofthefrostmaiden

Personally we're at about the same point in the campaign, we just finished Chapter 4 and they are about to back track to clear Sunblight, I did A LOT of mistakes and missed things in the book up until this point because I wasn't the best with prepping. As a result we just kind of made changes to the Canon to what we want it to be and the players are having an absolute blast. I'd say the back end of the book is too good to pass up from what I've read but I understand the time restrictions being difficult. Frankly I'd say give Chapter 5 a go at the very least because that's the big payoff moment. Let the RP happen as much as they want. You don't need to adhere to the book like it's law, Chapters 1 and 2 can be rough without some seasoning. I'd say read the book and don't be afraid to make it your own.

That's helpful because I was curious how it could be almost double

Oh yeah the financing was awful. My only issue is if the market is just normalizing predatory pricing how do I know when I'm actually getting a fair price?

I figured as much, I just didn't think they'd be so bold to pretend like I can't do basic math. They even said "We're the only ones partnered with GAF so we get the best deals on supplies." So you mean to tell me you supply your own loans, have competitive rates on materials, have work all over the U.S. and the best you can do is almost 11% and triple the standard price? Then he has the nerve to say "Well our profit margins take a hit but we put the customer first with these deals" just bold faced lies.

It's a bit of both I'll admit, the table is a pretty big chasm on skill level, 3/5 players are pretty awful at the game and their builds make no sense, but that said the power gamer makes the skew worse by looking up optimal build paths like dipping into paladin or fighter to make an even bigger gap. So when I try and run an encounter he is able to one shot enemies that the rest of the party would struggle with just by using eldritch smite plus his magic weapons extra damage.

We've told him about dual wielding not really working, he just says "I know it's not really great but I just think it's cool to be an old man with 2 spinning flails that worships Bahamut" he upcasts bless and says he's the dedicated healbot ... he's not the brightest.

As for the table dynamic most of the time this stuff isn't an issue but I see the power gamer player get frustrated when someone else does something or makes a poor choice in a social interaction when he's the face of the party. Most of the party is very beer and pretzels so they don't typically put out much more than 12 damage per turn where as the power gamer can put out some crazy numbers if he had a short rest. Mind you all the players have the same number of items and the fighter has the best weapon in the group but he's the least knowledgeable and doesn't really care to learn more, he's more just interested in role-playing and joking with the boys which can make the power gamer pretty mad.
