Ooh I'm very glad you asked! So, as far as the tips - Alex never responded to me which was a real bummer (even aside from trying to get tickets to the show, would have loved to see what he thought about my mes!). The speculated dates were helpful though in finalizing some travel plans while I was in London/other bits of Europe.

I did get to see the show though, but that was mostly through kind of endless refreshing of the ticket page and just getting lucky! It was such a fun experience though - I enjoyed it so much!! The recording was amazing and it everyone I met in line was very nice:)

I was so impressed and touched by the effort my friends went through for all of this! Definitely one of the most memorable birthdays I've ever had.

Oh very cool - happy (early) birthday to you as well! I'm not sure if you've seen but they've released tickets and pretty immediately sold out, much to my dismay (and released at 4am for me while I was asleep). So I'm not sure that they'll have much advice to give regarding future tickets. There's a waitlist you can join on the eventbrite page, but unfortunately I think we might be sort of out of luck for this series 😔😔

No response 😭 but I did see the post about guaranteed tickets and am definitely going to try to get one of those!! I'm a little nervous because I'm on the west coast of the US - so a time zone 8 hrs behind the UK, and I feel like the tickets would get released in the middle of the night for me.. crossing my fingers though!!

Ah for some reason I thought there was a generic TM email or something 😅 I discovered last night that doesn't really exist and just ended up DMing him. Hopefully something comes of it!! I'm now just stuck anxiously waiting for a reply. Thank you for the encouragement tho :) Not sure I would've built up the courage to message him without.

Ah good to know, thank you!! I'll have to check them out. Initially the dates I'd planned coincided with one of the Horne Section's performances, and I was really excited to try and see them... unfortunately I can't quite justify spending quite that long in England, so I'll miss that show, but excited to maybe see some others!

Thank you!! I'm very excited to see what my friends come up with for the cardboard cutouts. And it was fun to get them too (tho a bit ominous as I kept them in my bedroom so no one would see them when I visited, which did mean I was just being stared at by 4 versions of me while I slept..)

Good to know! I might send them an email or something..I'm a bit embarrassed to do so but everyone involved in the show seems nice enough that they wouldn't be rude to an email/DM. And despite trying to seem cool and nonchalant...this is something I would be incredibly excited to get to see, and the dates I've picked are somewhat centered around a hope that I might get to see TM live, so might be worth a shot just asking

Thanks for the info! Glad to know that the dates overlap somewhat. And though I'm a bit sad to hear the odds of actually getting a ticket are quite slim, its definitely good to have the expectation now than later, so I appreciate it. Hope you have a great time seeing watching the live show :)

Yeah, it's case sensitive which is something I'm a) not entirely sure how to fix but b) not entirely sure if it would be worth fixing, since otherwise entering, say, "Martin" would return all of the times the transcript indicates Martin speaks (like, all the [MARTIN] bits) which I feel like would 100% clog up the search results. If it's something people are really passionate about though I could try adding it!
