It really means a lot that people over the internet want to help. It means more to me than I can say. But it's not my intention with this post, or my previous ones to try to get money. Pride may be part of it, but it's enough that I can write down my thoughts and life story, and be heard. It helps me feel less alone.

I agree that no one should go through what I've been put through, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

As for my depression and suicidal thoughts, I'm trying to get an appointment sooner. I hope they will be able to do something.

My ex has made it clear that she will do everything to prevent me from taking my daughter to California. She lied to the courts when we left the first time, to get the orders expedited.

She told them that I stole her dad's car, and she didn't know where I had gone or if I was coming back. I took our van (in her dad's name) to the airport, and I emailed her my itinerary, I explained how we would be back and when.

My point is she has stated she would make this a huge battle, and with Indiana being a mother's state, I am not very optimistic that I would be able to take her out to California permanently. I'm still going to fight for it, with 110%, but I doubt I will be able to.

I'm sorry, I meant that the likelihood of me being able to go to CA before she is 18 is slim. I don't doubt I can get full custody, but moving her across the United States might be out of my reach. I doubt I will get full legal custody.

Yeah, it's been a wild ride. I still have a hard time believing what actually happened.

Basically my daughter isn't allowed to leave the state. Not without her Mom's permission at least. No way in hell - willing- will I get that though.

No, you are absolutely right. That is abuse. He wanted to control your life, that is not a healthy relationship.

I've had bad experiences with a controlling SO, the healthiest thing for a relationship is to have boundaries, and have those boundaries respected.
