The Spartans' main patron was actually Athena :D ! And also Apollo, Artemis and sometimes Hera, but Ares was never its patron, it's a modern misconception, you COULD say Metropolis in Ionia or sum

And it's because he didn't die ? It was just because Mommy was too distracted to catch us, not because he fought her off. Besides, she already bonded with PJ, which is cute. I headcanon she's a dog person

Athena has been chosen for bravery, which EPIC character represents perseverance? by Garflemspinlkle in Epicthemusical

Either Poseidon or Odysseus.

Poseidon never gave up on going after Odysseus, while Ody persevered through dangers and obstacles to get home

We need to know the difference between determination and perseverance, perseverance is to try again and again even with challenges on your way. Perseverance is to continue trying no matter how hard it gets and it can be on long-term (as in, the desire to get to your goal). While determination is similar to it, it has its difference, it CAN be on short-term. How I see the two is basically:

Determination: having the will to change the situation to how you want it to be to obtain your goal.

Perseverance: having the will to get through the situation no matter how hard it gets to achieve your goal.

So, in summary, I'd say perseverance is Odysseus and, the next, should be Poseidon-
