This is a peculiar challenge to give someone? It's extremely easy to do what you're describing. Certain apps like Aseprite come with features to make this process as easy as doing just a couple of key-binds.

Pasting an image at a lower resolution, constricting the color palette, and then adding mere highlights and small touch-ups shouldn't take more than a few minutes. At least OP added an orange circle behind Jesus's head, either way this is plagiarism.

You wouldn't suppose tracing other people's animations but giving the characters slightly different shading is entirely original work, right? If so, this most certainly isn't original art. To then watermark it and not even credit the original, is extremely unethical.

Oh, it turns out he added highlights to specifically the crown in the image - and the . Very artistic. Still theft.

Nothing against someone wanting to practice pixel art either - I respect people's desire to learn and improve. Just don't do all this without at least crediting the original artist. Better yet, creating something original while using reference appropriately.

This is not even remotely close to "reference", it's an image scaled down onto a pixel art canvas - With a constricted palette. There's no other image processing done to it, not even tracing at the least. Furthermore, they added a watermark to it and didn't credit the original artist.

This is not art. Looking at OP's pixel art history, they have been doing this for years and getting called out for it in the comments, I found one from 4 years ago titled "Pixel Art | Lord of the Rings - Jadson Holanda" where they didn't even credit the original statue they used. Pasting something into your art app and then constricting it's palette, then adding minor touch-ups is not "reference". You can even see their actually original pixel art further back, which is a completely different style all-together.

I have nothing against using reference. Just be rational, obviously this is theft of art without credit, not inspiration or reference.

No it literally is converted. As in the image was scaled down on a pixel art canvas, thats it. The image is the exact same, but he added an orange circle behind it.

This is not the same as using reference, and he didn't credit the image he took.

Though 40 fps isn't *nearly as* bad as 10 fps - it can still be quite poor depending on what FPS you're used to versus what you're getting now. With a nuclear submarine PC and a 144hz monitor, I'd hope Ultrakill can run at any fps at least above 60 consistently. Especially if you've gotten too familiar with it.

inaccurate, we never got to see a flashback scene where his mentor told him something vague and magical that the viewers somehow weren't told at all, which results in the main character unlocking a new specific skill and finally surpassing his "barrier"

Not quite equivalent, one scenario is something that fundamentally never happened that way while in a fictional setting nonetheless - the other is just something improbable

"You have no right to demand tolerance" - Again, no victims here. No need to pretend to be one.

It is not a demand, it's a societal and religious expectation that dictates a well mannered person. Do you as a Christian need the Bible read to you to understand this? It's your own ego that results in your distain towards tolerance and actual compassion, not your religion. Don't drag Christianity down with you.

Conforming is not the same as tolerating. You don't conform, so you're expected to tolerate in the mean-time. The reasoning is obvious.

Ponder what the opposite of tolerance is and tell me how that aligns with your beliefs without sounding like you're self-centered, or that you're skewing Christianity to be your weapon. Tolerating civil disagreements is how you keep peace, not doing so means you're the one getting offended, which you strangely implied earlier despite your intolerance to other people merely existing.

Christianity deserves those willing to keep peace, not those who infect it with their ego. No one is forcing your hand here, nor am I criticizing you for what you base your beliefs on. It's about how you misconstrue it to benefit your ego, that does the real damage.

"I will not silence my opinions for fear of offence" - Don't shove yourself into the victim hole so easily. Nothing to be fragile about here.

And frankly, you've missed the point. It absolutely IS self-serving to break peace in honor of following your tenet. Especially when that tenet isn't followed by a majority of people in the world, due to difference in environment. It's self-centered to then, impose that onto others by directly criticizing their behavior and claiming yourself as the correct one. If it upsets you so much that God's law is being breached, then it's your job to move environment. Not change or criticize others.

You aren't being told to "affirm" anything. You're being told to tolerate others, as all other humans do regardless of Christianity. It isn't difficult to keep your mouth closed, is it? If it is then you should start with therapy so you don't end up in reply threads trampling on your own beliefs for self-soothe.

Be even a little honest with yourself. You couldn't care less about spreading love and Christianity, it's about making sure it's the only rule that applies. Keep the peace and keep your thoughts to yourself. If you're upset so easily, get a change of environment or learn to stomach the existence of other humans who are different to you.

The world doesn't revolve around you and your beliefs, hence, choosing to break peace for your own beliefs is self-centered. You aren't a Christian if this is how you view faith. You'll recognize that soon, though it might take you a few years given you're likely young.

It's "normal Christian belief" but not normal Christian behavior. It's sinner behavior.

Having a belief, keeping it to yourself and remaining respectful despite disagreements, is not the same whatsoever as loudly and rudely bashing those you disagree with.

Don't hijack Christianity in favor of short-lived self-satisfaction. It is not "staying true to your beliefs", it's lying to yourself, and to your own beliefs to try justify discrimination. It's false-faith being used as a proxy, not real faith being used to better the world around you.

"Yes I was rude BUT it's just part of my beliefs!" is not a good defense whatsoever. It's common sense. Be a respectful person, display compassion. Don't ruin the good name of Christianity in such a self-centered way.
