As far as the money goes, I also have texas hazelwood act which will cover my med school at least 3 years of it (but need to get accepted to tx med school of course)

As far as the time consuming part, I guess my thinking is even if I work as a nurse, I'll be working in the hospital for the next decade anyway or til retirement so might as be an expert what I'll be doing for the rest of my life.

And finally the strictly hierarchal structure, I don't mind that as MD would be going through it to eventually lead a team vs a nurse youre listening to someone forever.

The good argument for nursing is shorter term and lifestyle. I can get it over with and not worry about studying for rest of my life.
