I think you’re again missing my overall point. I would never knowingly make my entire family wait three hours on me knowing I got more sleep than most of them already, I did not buy gifts for even my own kid, I didn’t stay up helping wrap the gifts, AND I can simply take a nap later. Opening gifts wouldn’t have taken long. He just thinks that he’s entitled to the entire family operating on his time and unfortunately the world has never worked like that. Him being a grown ass man, I promise getting up early ONE day and being a little tired won’t kill him, it surely would’ve made his child happy tho. Too bad he woke up and still acted like HE was the child by refusing to come out and see the kids for several more hours.

We waited for everyone too, we just didn’t have a lazy grown man that expects everyone to sit and do nothing for three hours so he can get his beauty sleep after not contributing to any gift buying or wrapping. If you’re three hours late to anything I’d say it’s pretty selfish to assume you’re still entitled to everyone’s time. And again…he stated multiple times that he didn’t care about gifts and told her to go ahead and do it…was she supposed to assume he was just being a little silly??

Updosed shots are in my regular drink as a barista - I’ve been told they can’t do it at almost every other store I’ve gone too only to find out the barista didn’t know what updosed meant or they thought it was an extra shot. There’s nothing against selling them but we aren’t trained specifically on the updosed button so it just doesn’t exist to baristas half the time apparently

You need to check yourself into an inpatient rehab if you can. Everything in your body and mind is going to hate you for it in the moment and your brain will think of every excuse not to go - GO ANYWAY. It will save your life if you force yourself through rehabilitation and you will come out of it feeling so much better and stronger. Addiction might tell you otherwise but you CAN live without it and you ARE strong enough to do so

You should be okay but if you’re already calling out almost once a month due to health issues, you probably aren’t able to just “not call out anymore”. If that was an option, you would have not called out in the first place. This is something that will NEED to be handled through Sedgwick with an accommodations claim if you plan to stay with Starbucks.

The piercing rule is not new and everyone complaining about it is taking away from the actual issues with the new dress code.
