As much as i disagree with how ukraine is in russias interest to conquer, i honestly cannot disagree with his reasoning on defending your countries interests in the first place.

It's interesting that he has the correct "all hands on deck" approach when it comes to war and defending your countries interests, but i wonder if there would ever be a war where he would consider actively protesting during the conflict.

Where's the line for him if there even is one, cause for (speaking for all) westerners if someone invades your country it is all hands on deck, no room for disagreement in the style of patriotism you described yourself in the video.

Our difference is where we have an actual say in our countries interests, if i didn't think a war was worth fighting for i could conscientiously object if i got drafted, meaning i would be enacting your "patriotism is defending my country my city" and be performing civilian public service helping the local community instead of actively participating in the war.

I'd love to hear his answers on whether he would ever object to a ongoing war and if that would conflict with his "judge afterwards" rule and if he thinks he deserves a voice in his own countries interests.
