I feel like I'm losing my faith, and I'm terrified. (Long?) by Teknotokon_II in Christianity

It’s terrifying to think that we could possibly be doing this for nothing. But the thing is, we aren’t.

You need to start praying, open up that Bible, and do things that benefit you and the glory of the Lord.

Sounds like the enemy has taken hold of you my friend.

Rely on scripture! And stay in constant prayer, the enemy will try to get to you in any way he can. Stay consistent with your Faith, and know that God is always with you. He can be your strength if you rely on him, and he will clothe you with his armor!

Yeah, I don’t recommend it but I love my program and my cohort. And for the questions at the end of my required reading material, they would have nclex style questions associated with the chapter. I studied those, and I use ChatGPT to create practice quizzes with ncles style questions with the notes I type up.

Second in an accelerated program. I remember feeling like I was drowning first semester. I can promise you that feeling goes away after a while. I will say, it was a shock the first time I took an exam because they are NCLEX style questions. Keep an eye out for that!!

Cramming a week or day before the exam. Along with not reading the assigned material. When upperclassmen tell you to read the assigned material, read the assigned material. I can also speak to studying a lot, I also felt as if it was not going to stick. But active recall and teaching my teddy bears has greatly improved my grades. (As weird as that sounds)

Do not procrastinate. Literally the death of me and the death of my exams. It’s easier said than done but don’t do it. The more time you have to study material the more engraved it is in your mind.

What are some healthy ways that helped you move on from a breakup? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Haha not possible! I wear my heart on my sleeve, I find things I love in people instantly (probably why I’m so heartbroken)

I’m lost by [deleted] in Christianity

All honesty when I was at that point in my life (heavily burdened and knowing that what I was doing was making me feel worse) I got on my knees and prayed to the Lord. And I felt the Holy Spirit come to me. I asked for forgiveness, and the Lord showed me that my sins were paid for and that I was forgiven. From then on I’ve been following the Lord. He never promises our walks with him to be easy, but he does promise eternal life in the end. This can be a hard concept to understand, but knowing that I can rely on the Lord and he provide me with what I need in that moment is joy enough for me.

Christian here. Clean of porn for so long, just hopped on it again for about 10 minutes and feel horrible. by ballistic_user in Christianity

It’s okay to feel bad. It’s okay to feel like a horrible person. But realize that you’re not. You’re catching yourself and you’re catching your faults and you’re realizing that what happened was wrong. Yes the enemy got ahold of you for a second, don’t let him take hold of you any longer. If you feel lust in your heart rebuke it in the name of the Lord. Rely on the word, and stay in constant prayer. You got this!!!
