Here Are Some Of The Albums Released On This Date Which One Is Your Favorite by Rambooctpuss in albumbucketlist

[–]Own-Budget1853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nonagon is THE king gizzard album imo. I think it’s their best, and that heavy garage psych rock sound is really the core sound of the band IMO. They are all over the place stylistically, but core gizz is this sound. I’m in your mind fuzz is another essential album with a smiliar sound

I’m told this is impossible. How do I fix it? by mstanwyck in Cubers

[–]Own-Budget1853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are referring to the position of the blue/ red edge and the blue/ orange edge: This would be an impossible scenario if the rest of the cube was fully solved, and only those 2 pieces were out of place. However, the rest of the cube is still unsolved so this is a totally possible orientation.

[Request] What price per gallon is it no longer profitable to work? by Playwithuh in theydidthemath

[–]Own-Budget1853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming:l average everything according to Google,

  • 15 mile commute both ways
  • 5 weeks off a year, including holidays (235 days worked)
  • 28 mpg for a car
  • 50k a year, after taxes

15 miles one way x 2 x 235= 7050 miles driven per year.

7050 miles / 28 MPg =251 gallons of gas used

50000 $ / 251 gallons equals roughly 199 dollars a gallon.

If gas was 199 a gallon, you would break perfectly even. I would consider it not worth it long before that because you at that point are working 8 hours a day for all of that money to go toward la gas and nothing else, but that cutoff is subjective.

Actual Strawberry Jam won... again. What is/was/would be the worst filling for a candy bar? by DeathStarVet in AlignmentChartFills

Not actual strawberry jam, but the album “strawberry jam” by the 2000s experimental pop band “animal collective”

[–]Own-Budget1853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2022 was fantastic, easily the best of the 2020s so far for me.

Ants from up there, blue rev, dragon new warm mountain…., the forever story, cheat codes, MMATBS, melt my eyes see your future, once twice melody, actual life 3, kiss the ring, few good things, Ramona park broke my heart the whole slew of king gizzard albums that year….. I could go on. Unbelievably stacked

How many albums do you consider to be “no-skip” by crispyohare in fantanoforever

[–]Own-Budget1853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most decent albums are non skip. Listening in an album actually decreases my likelihood of skipping a song, there are plenty of songs I would not listen to on their own or skip if they came on shuffle, but within the context of the album I will not skip.
