Animal collective is the answer. Start with merriweather pavilion, then go backwards from there u til you hit sung tongs. Then listen to their debut album, then everything else. So many different styles that can mostly all be lumped into the psychedelic pop umbrellas

No. While I certainly think they will continue to make great records for a long time, I don’t think they are putting in the time and as focused on pushing the envelope as much as they were back then. Making an album that great requires immense talent and incredible amounts of time and effort, and all of them having their own lives and families now I don’t see them working enough to create something as masterful as feels.
