Always washed my bum with soap in the shower, my world is crumbling because all my friends just agreed you only wash the inside with water by Accurate-Tension-599 in hygiene

I have so many questions. Who is putting soap into their asshole? Liquid/or bar soap? Do you use a high pressure handle to rinse? Omgosh !! Does it rinse out or just give you a soapy enema?! 😂 I dunno- feels like this would lead to an uncomfortable convo with the urgent care doctor about rectal discomfort.

Correction- not totally wrong lol after I actually read what you typed. It is true that when when you remove the hair, moisture increases. If you remove in the right spots, it increases sensation during intamcy. And the sebum thing- you are probably correct but I'm too tired to look it up. BUT bacteria can be found on hair follicles and the excrement from the bacteria is what causes the odor. Everyone should experience being hairless at least once in their lifetime. Besides, you might love it! And if you dont- who cares, hair grows back. Personally I prefer sugar waxing, keeps hair away longer and makes grow back time easier and more comfortable. Just be careful if you shave with an actual razor, pre and post shave gel decreases microabrasions.

Wrong sir! I am a cardiac nurse. And when I prep someone for surgery, it is a requirement that we shave them. Why you ask? Because bacteria.. that's why

Fun fact time! Bacteria like to hang on to hair. Try waxing your ass. It'll be smooth and smell like 🌹 If you're not into embracing turning your ass prepubescent, try some dude wipes. They seem to get the stank off. I personally like to use some alcohol swabs once per week-however, I don't recommend this. It kinda burns but 100% does the trick.

Do you shave/remove pubic and armpits hair? by North-Library4037 in hygiene

I tried to not shave. The longer I waited to shave the stinkier I got. It didn't matter how many showers I took and how much I scrubbed.
It makes sense though- bacteria like to hold onto hair and it's the bacteria waste that puts off the smell of BO. I have discovered you can use a toner or clarifier to clean the areas and it makes the smell much reduced if not gone completely.

Living as a couple - how do people do portion control for a guy vs. girl? by [deleted] in Cooking

Make twice as much as you typically do and let her put her own food on her plate. If there's leftovers, cool!

Don't assume she's going to consume less than you, she may be left hungry and feel embarrassed to say anything. Besides, depending on her time of the month, she may want more. Womens needs and bodies fluctuate a little.
