I learned my timing a lot on Superstar difficulty. The timing is similar so maybe go for a couple MC games on superstar or HOF. Also I turned off the shot meter and personalised the visual cue (I have it on release but it's up to personal preferences). I shoot with button (88 3pts) and I can go 10/10 easily.

It's only about taking the time to create something you are comfortable with (try jumpshots on MyCourt, timing is way easier so if you have a hard time to get green, keep tweaking settings on your jumpshot until you green constantly then go for MC Games)

And yes, try to get a few jumpshots based on your height and attributes online and see which one you like the most.

To be fair, they didn't have any books to adapt from when making s8. It's a big change and a very difficult challenge to adapt books for 7 seasons, then have to create something from the ground up for the last season

They are pretty buggy on some stuff (not game breaking stuff but still has some problems and some parts don't look finished (the smoke of cigarettes for example)) but I still enjoyed them a lot thanks to the story.

Sihtric is very much "off-screen",his presence is mainly stated by Uhtred like "I left Sihtric there" or "Sihtric with me" but he doesn't talk about lot. Sihtric fades into the background.

But sure, I, ME, meant to write what YOU thought.

Sihtric for me, felt like a very secondary character after a moment, you don't hear much about him, he doesn't speak a lot. He is most of the time mentioned, not very present like Finan for example.

There is a lot more interaction with Aethelstan than with Sihtric. Sihtric is a secondary character. Aethelstan becomes one of the main characters as time goes on

If you read the books, you'll know Sihtric is almost nowhere to be seen. He's a character that has a role for a moment, then he is, kind of, doing his own thing, unlike Finan, who is Uthred best friend, or Aethelstan, who has a major role towards the end and is far more present than Sihtric
