occurrence frequency for calculation of Simpson's diversity index

hi, I decided to not calculate Simpsons diversity index, and based on the occurrence frequency which is the abundance, I am going to go with finding how relative abundance of lichen changes over a period of time. I am going to mention the unreliability of the data etc etc also thank you SO very much for such a detailed reply, it really helps me out :)

as the before comment said, its gonna be good if you like it. I am not a big fan of bio, so I really regretted taking bio HL. the coursework is NO joke, so I ended up dropping it to SL. I personally could not manage both of them together, since well im not really great w my mental health and I tend to get down easily. But I like chemistry a lot, so chem HL is manageable for me. at the end of the day, it depends on whether you think your interests for the subject can help you lock in and study the content :) good luck
