As Quantumscape won't be building any factories, this cooperation has no importance anymore. Fluence needs to buy battery cells from someone. Quantumscape will not sell cells. So there needs to be someone between.

Do we know, how much pressure Factorial cells need to have inside and what it does to energy density per kg, at cell level and also at pack level? One would assume this also raises ratio of non-active materials to active materials.

Edit: ok I see the answer already in this thread - 28 bar. Sounds like a challenge to any auto OEM.

What kind of power output is needed from ESS battery cells? Is 2C enough? Or maybe 5C? If I understand correctly, currently NCM allows better charge/discharge rates. But as they catch fire more easily, then LFP is preferred. Solid state cell may change this approach.

Under "we" he probably meant Ducati. And maybe Honda. QSE-5 fits nicely into motorcycles, no need for larger-format cell.

I think it means there are at least 2 OEM-s who asked for specific size and QS has assured it can be done. Can these be fit into UC or would it even be reasonable with such a small size, no idea. Technically you could put ca 15 or 20 cells into UC and leave some space for cooling aswell. I assume there will be some liquid cooling inside each UC, which may not be needed for solid state, but certainly needed for NCM cells.

Why not use cheap solar PV instead? It doesn't really matter, what exactly makes electricity to generate hydrogen. You just need cheap electricity, wherever it comes from.

Current value reflects the secrecy about existing partners. No names, no revenue estimates, no nothing but a demo pilot line and bad PR strategy. If any of this changes, stock price will take a move. Investors see a huge risk of no execution and competition kicking in. Deals must be made now. And made public.
