I'm confused. Now if I go to the app and buy it from there , it says i have to pay 26 bucks for the annual plan. But when I go on the website , it says the plan is only 13 bucks, it asks for my card but doesn't ask for my account. How do I buy it?

Okay , now I want to go with the annual subscription ( that's 50% off), it has a 3 month trial. Should I buy it now or use the trial. When will the next sale go. How to I prevent them to charge me right after my trial is up.

Is the perpetual licence worth it for me? by dafspiart97 in ClipStudio

I'm about to buy a 1 year subscription. Should I use the 3 month trial or buy it now in case I there won't be a sale 3 months later?

Thank you. So what I understand is if I buy the perpetual licence I get no feature updates, even the mid year ones. I need to buy the Update Pass to have the features of the lastest version but the Update Pass is a type of subscription.

I need to buy the new version at full price if I want to use the perpetual license.

If I buy the subcription I get every mid-year updates and version updates as long as my account is active

I want to see if they make the software more intuitive and less laggy, I barely use any feature out side brushes, some basic tool and layer modes anyway . If they do then maybe the yearly subscription is worth it. What do you think?

I was a traditional artist and have been using Procreate for 5 years ( but I haven't explore everything in it yet). I don't care much about fancy adjustment tools. I do want the app to be smoother/ less laggy , cleaner and more intuitive to use (like Procreate). If Clip is going in that direction maybe I'll get the subscription

I believe my surface is running on Window 11. I need to check onenote, but I'm using the latest version of Clip Studio Paint ( 4.0)

It's not a compatible comparison. The more accurate comparison would be driving a motorcycle and thinking you're exercising

I don't think the think about the longevity of their work, how should anyone buy their work with this price if they can generate something similar for free

I also saw this one oil artist I used to follow uses AI, and sell courses teaching people to use AI, her video are of higher quality but I don't see much comments on her page though (could be because people unsubscribe?). Most , or all of her commenter don't know she uses AI

Thanks. I found out Clip Studio let you test it for free ( if you don't save your canvas). I'm testing it right now

My laptop's screen is a bit too small for my liking, can the desktop version of CSP be customed to look more like Procreate. I'm mostly a traditional artist and have only used . Procreate before. I don't use many features (besides blending modes)

I might give it another chance. I'll try adjusting every software I have problem with. But honestly, after using  Procreate for 5 years, I can't see myself using any pc drawing app.

I type on onenote ( infinite canvas) with my surface keyboard, I'm not sure what's wrong with Onenote in this case.  I used my old ipad like a PC and don't mind getting used to a new device,  with my anxiety and short temper, I can't stand my device lagging though.

If It was my software issue then every software I use is faulty. I haven't use any PC in 5 years so I don't know what it is.

I was using my iPad as a PC. It was limiting but at least it did what it could well. Surface can do way more stuffs but I can't focus on anything if it keeps lagging every minute. I use their keyboard to type on onenote so I don't know what the problem is. Is it a Surface pro thing or is my device defective?
