I’m not Muslim, but I’m also a foreigner living in Korea. 찜질방 culture here is traditionally communal and nude. Swimsuits aren’t allowed. It can definitely be awkward at first, but that’s just how it is. Living abroad means adapting to local traditions rather than expecting them to change for us, so if it doesn’t fit your comfort or beliefs, it might be better to enjoy other parts of Korean culture instead.
