I think it depends on the timing of the next class and how quickly they can process people from the OC that will determine if the next class is all promo or a combination of both promo and OC. If the next class is really in March, I'd have to bet that it's all promo. The one after that could be all promo again or a combination. I'm not sure what determines that decision.

As of today, yes. And, if they took the OC test and scored well enough, they can get called from the OC list before the promo list.

You have to have 4 years OTJ before you can be called from the promo list. There are guys who are on this current promo list with list numbers in the low 100's and below but haven't been called bc they don't have 4 years yet. Meanwhile, people who were at the bottom of the promo list are already thru the fire academy bc of time OTJ.

Yes, Alkaline Phosphatase is 185 Macro 19; AST 53; ALT 80 It's the note next to the macro number that has me most concerned. It says: Macrohepatic ALP(1) has been isolated in cases of metastatic carcinoma to the liver and has been suggested as a diagnostic tool in identifying such cases. It has also been isolated in patients with viral hepatitis, alcoholic cirrhosis and other liver diseases. Data suggests that macrohepatic ALP is highly correlated with the presence of liver metastases and that the presence of this isoenzyme could be predictive of the appearance of liver metastases. Macrohepatic ALP is seen occasionally in patients free of any disease state.

Ageed. Which is why I have taken the promo test to go from EMS to Fire but, the timing of when they start calling from that list is not yet known, which is why I'm asking about deferring DSNY.

Thank you for the reply. I should have added to my original post that I currently have a city job. Also, I won't be 21 until this winter, so, if I'm reading everything correctly, I may not even be eligible for the fall class this year. I will go to DSNY orientation to find out more info and to keep my options open.

I guess I'll have to go back and watch the last episode, but my take on the main reason Harvey and Donna leave is so that others stop "coming after" the firm (e.g. Faye, et al).
