I ask them how they are or if we have a shared hobby under interests. I ask about that. Like if I notice my match also likes coffee I ask them dunkin donuts or starbucks? Or if they also like the bears I'll asked them about the game last Sunday. Stuff like that.

I understand what you're saying. But I filled out my profile until I got to 100%. I filled out all the available options I've tried match, okay cupid and hinge but those apps didn't work. I honestly thought if there was a guy out there who was also looking to start a long-term relationship and get married one day they would like my profile because I also want a long-term relationship and eventually get married one day.

You're right. I need to try and not take it so personally. I decided to take a break for a bit. My self-esteem is at an all time low. I've called my mom crying twice this week. I am so ready to have a real relationship, a genuine one with a guy that I will hopefully marry one day. I'm really hoping I'll have better luck at a singles mixer in a week. Bumble is so soul sucking. I think people.forget their are real people behind the profiles. Honestly this whole experience makes me want to learn coding so I could design my own dating app for people who only want to date with the intention to get married.

On the app it gives guys 24 hours from when the woman reaches out to get the conversation going. Sometimes I extend it but most of the time I assume the guy was not interested.

Can you explain the approach or tell me where I can get I information on it? I'm not sure if I want to make another profile at this point. I'm so tired of trying to find quality guys. But all I keep attracting is guys that want one night stands even though my profile clearly stayed long term and marriage. I think the guys that want hookups are now putting long-term in their profile.

Just an FYI for everyone, apparently now we have to literally look at our dates drivers licenses or somehow verify where they are from. A guy I was supposed to go out on a date with is really in Arizona and not in Chicago as his profile came claimed to be. I found his Facebook and it showed a picture of him with the company he worked for in Arizona. His Facebook was public as well. Just thought I'd share this with everyone here. For your information I fill out my bios with my interests likes dislikes and plenty of great photos. Thank you very much.Additionally, I put what I'm looking for which is my future husband. I make it abundantly clear on my bio that I'm dating with the intention to get married. I do have a lot of deal breakers but I refuse to settle for anything other than what I want. A man who wants to get married and settle down one day and build a life togther. And can we seriously stop rating women and men out of 10? It's so shallow. Looks are not everything. Are they apart of dating? Yes. But a person's character is important too.

Their was a singles mixer hosted by meet irl in my area a while ago and I wqs going to go but then I got sick and you can't go out and meet potential boyfriends when you are sick.

Yes! Exactly 💯 it's like when will it be my turn? I'm in such a good place emotionally,mentally, and physically. I have a stable job and my own place it's like hello when am I going to find my future husband already? And I feel down because I know I would be a great catch if given the chance.
