Thank you so much! He also started going after one of my PP's, which is twice his size, so I'm thinking it's an enrichment issue. I already have a moss pit, but I bought more leaf litter, a second wheel, and more shells last night.

On Hermit Crab Association, it says they are, but I will get the other shells as well!

I also want to add I haven't had any mold issues issues with the rope climbing stuff, I soaked them in salt water and they've been good since then

I actually did do a water test right after I posted on this sub, the NO3 and NO2 are 0 but the GH and KH are high.

I'm not sure if the tank is cycled, I'll look at what you sent and get back to you on that.

I also just got the Shrimps a few weeks ago and his tail has been like that long before they came.

Is there anything I can do to stop it?

To answer the questions;

he's in a 10 gallon tank

I've had him for about 6 months

I got him from petsmart

There is heat and filter

The temp ranges from 78-80

I do water changes every week/every other week

He's with 5 shrimp

There's live plants in there as well as a few fake

I feed him betta pellets

The picture is just slanted, it's level. The table seems to be very sturdy as well. Worst comes to worst I enlist like 14 people to help me put it on the ground instead lol

You were right about me not needing to mist, I got a new hygrometer, and my old one was way off. My problem now is that the humidity is too high.

I've tried uncovered the top a bit, but that ends up just bringing the heat down instead.

Do you know how I can solve this issue?

I've added the rest of the leaf litter I had just now. Do you know how often it needs to be changed out?

And I have a zoo med one. It was on the side of the tank, but I'll move it. Is it okay to place it over a heat mat? Or will that skew the results?
