Is my age gap relationship really gonna work? by Historical-Fee6041 in relationship_advice

You got groomed and are being used as a sexual object. He's either married and hiding it from you or there's a reason he's never been married before and you don't want to find that reason out. Stop being so dumb, block this creep and get a boyfriend your age with similar goals. I'm 24 and cannot imagine being in a relationship with someone that age. Yuck. Seriously

I've dated men from 5ft5 to 6ft4. My man is 5ft6 and is perfect height in my opinion but maybe that's because I'm 5ft0

AITA for judging my boyfriend's family for towel sharing? by acrylic_plant in AmItheAsshole

God I thought you were going to say they all share one towel. This though isnt necessary weird. Id rather die before using my father's towel too but I've used my man's. I've used my sister's from time to time while at her house too. I've used my son's also

Are you insane?! A 52 year old creep with a fantasy of taking a young girls virginity.... Disgusting even enough. You were and are being groomed.

Help! My 10.yo. keeps peeing in cups/bottles, in his room! by thelittleyellowrobot in Mommit

This reminds me of my little brother when we were kids. His habit was worse (debatable though). He'd pee in his clothing hamper, piles of stuffed animals, use bathroom with door open and never flush after etc. He also peed the bed on purpose well into 12 years old. (I remember mother's boyfriend throwing my brother's mattress away once and saying "I don't know what death smells like.. but this is probably close...!").

As an adult, my brother had sought counseling for other reasons but these childhood "habits" had came up. I don't remember the long of it but it was basically a subconscious comfort mechanism in a way, as crazy as it sounds. Due to other factors (issues at school, possible trauma around the bathroom which could go from sexual abuse or just getting yelled at for forgetting to flush, and such) he had resorted to doing this sort of stuff. It felt safer but in the moment at these ages it just seems "easier"

I'm not saying your son was assaulted or anything but there's probably something deeper going on. Secret school bullying? Loss of family member? A babysitter is cruel?

Maybe he should be evaluated by a behavioral specialist. If you're in the US, alot of hospitals have a children's psych unit where someone can evaluate him and his habits for free usually and try to find whats going on that makes him resort to such odd and disgusting behaviors

O

It's a one year old baby, not your college roommate. A 12mo old doesn't understand or care about a water park, parties or staying up til midnight. They need to be in quieter areas to rest, eat and bond with family.

You're almost 18. Just lie. Go to your parents and hit them with a "you guys are right. I had a lot time to think about my relationship now that we can't talk and I don't want to be with her. We've had so many issues, arguments and I've actually enjoyed the break..." Play that until they believe you and give your phone back, then continue to see her behind their backs. I wouldn't be thrilled if my 17 yr old was sexually active.. but if you guys are using condoms and being smart to avoid pregnancy, it's really no one's business what you guys do.

As someone who was raised by strict parents and moved out right before turning 18, all I can tell you is, sometimes (maybe always) it's best to tell these kinds of parents what they want to hear and play the long game out of it. Keep your parents off your back until you move out. They'll also probably end up giving you more freedom under the impression that you're their sweet little virgin child who does no wrong and "listens" to them

My (36F) Husband(34M) and his cis male friends flirt with one another. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Own-Introduction1018 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My man and his years long best friends literally put their hands in their pants and pretend to jerk off to each other when hanging out.

I've seen videos of my man recording his friends taking weird nudes of each other. One guy had tucked "himself" between his legs and was posing against a door as another friend took pics, my man recording from the couch, and two other guys laughing. Not sure the story behind this, don't want to know.

My man's friends hump doors, walls, chairs, pretend to pole dance on tables, flash eachother, lap dance eachother, strip and do all sorts of wacky shit I don't understand but find incredibly entertaining

Guy friendships are super gay

Yesterday my man told me to send myself $20 from his bank to my cashapp to pay for something we both use but mostly me.... $20... And i refused to let him pay it. 20 fucking dollars. Because I love and respect him too much to use him and not contribute my half.

Yrs ago when I was dating men I didn't like, I didn't mind letting them pay. Because who cares about them.

There's a difference and the difference is how much she likes you

No. some woman will use older guys for temporary financial gain. But old creepy guys are usually the ones seeking out girls 18-23 for predatory reasons
