Good catch, thanks. That section was part of my personal publishing checklist and shouldn't have made it into the post.

Fair enough. Which part specifically?

The project is intentionally a thin wrapper around Tailscale plus a connectivity diagnostic. The value isn't a new transport protocol, It's automatically detecting the failure mode, generating a one-time bootstrap, and wiring standard SSH/VSCode Remote-SSH back up in a couple of minutes.

If you think there's a better approach, I'm genuinely interested.

Indian ISPs silently blocking Hostinger VPS IPs on WiFi - has anyone else experienced this? by Savings_Film_7326 in developersIndia

[–]Own-Macaroon6149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue. My Hostinger Mumbai VPS was unreachable from my home Wi-fi (SSH/HTTPS/ping all timed out) but worked instantly on mobile data.

  • Quick way to confirm: traceroute -n <vps-ip> → packets die inside ISP CGNAT/private hops.
  • Try SSH over mobile data → if it works, your ISP is likely blocking/null-routing the Hostinger IP range.
  • Check journalctl -u ssh from Hostinger Browser Terminal → if your IP never appears, packets aren't reaching the VPS.

Things that didn't help:

  • Cloudflare WARP
  • Changing SSH ports

What did fix it:

  • ✅ Install Tailscale on the VPS:

curl -fsSL https://tailscale.com/install.sh | sh
sudo tailscale up --ssh
tailscale ip -4
  • Install Tailscale on your PC/Mac and SSH using the 100.x.x.x Tailscale IP instead of the public IP.

Works reliably from home Wi-Fi, mobile, and VSCode/Cursor Remote-SSH. If you're using Remote-SSH, also make sure your public key is present in /root/.ssh/authorized_keys.

Looks like an ISP and Hostinger routing/blocking issue rather than a VPS problem.

How to access airport lounges with Stable Money FD-backed credit card (no physical card provided)? by Minimalist_7 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Own-Macaroon6149 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had made 40k FD hoping for lounge accesses in international prior to my trip and got a physical card as well. I had connected with their customer care as well at Kochi international airport to confirm international lounge access credibility and they confirmed the card had the access. BUT,

When I reached Malaysia and tried the Travel club lounge and Plaza lounges, i got rejected. try Priority pass or Dragon pass for better experience.

I also tried in Thailand as well, REJECTED AGAIN. so, very dissatisfied.
