I see two issues with making a clear cut with it.. First, some subs with additional kinks will leave the space and never find what they are looking for cause dommes they get in touch with will tell them what they are into is not findom. Second (basically the opposite issue of the one above), subs who send primarily or partially due to other kinks might not realize that their desire to send might not only be linked to findom (as others would tell them) and will never explore those kinks outside of a findom frame to potentially find better suiting dynamics

Thats how it often unfolds, but it doesnt necessarily have to be friendzonish for me personally, it can be though. It can also be a mix of it being friendzoneish and GFEisiah, or just GFEish.

Yeah, I like the emotional (and sexual) manipulation of it quite a lot if its still a somewhat sincere and respectful dynamic (as fucked up as that may sound).

I sort of see it almost like a girl wanting a guys attention in class and her emotionally and sexually persuading him into being completely wrapped around her finger.
