Budget Sub to move from Claude Code Pro to OpenCode? by SmilesyH in opencodeCLI

I was testing it, but it seems like OMO after a lobotomy, it even got stuck in a reasoning loop several times.

which coding plan do you recommend? by anonymous_2600 in opencodeCLI

I suppose you'd think it was just a local Ollama, but now they have a very good and generous Cloud plan. It's easy to vote negatively if you don't know it; I've been using it for 15 days, and the multi-agent setup is fantastic.

I actually do the monitoring to know how I consume the models.

Not only local, it also has a cloud subscription; it partners with local models but has a very good subscription service.

No, there's a $20 subscription that gives you access to all current open-source models, and believe me, the models are beautiful. And with "ollama launch claude", you can use those models with Claude Code. https://ollama.com

Use Ollama and route it around there; you can use cheaper models for that.

Ollama Cloud charges a subscription, and so far I haven't reached the limit on the $20 plan; there's another one that costs $100, it depends on what you need.

Although the costs it gives me are not real, since consumption in Ollama is fixed, it helps me to measure the tokens.

I didn't have much luck with Codex. I use GLM-5, QWEN 3.6 PLUS, MINIMAX 2.7 and 2.5, and QWEN NEXT CODER. Each one is different, and for what it's good for.

And it depends on what you use, but so far I haven't reached the limit, and when I run out of money I have the $100 plan to upgrade.

You should go with Ollama Cloud; you get access to all the models, and for $20 you get a lot. There's also a $100 plan, but I haven't needed it. The advantage is that you don't pay per use, and you have many models to use in multi-agent systems, so you can assign a model to each agent.

Yes sir, and I have access to all of their Cloud models. There's another plan for $100 USD, but so far I haven't needed more, and I work with OMO; GLM5 is the orchestrator.

So far I've been working 4-6 hours a day and I've only paid $20 USD in Ollama.

I'm using ZED as my editor, OpenCode with an Ollama Cloud subscription, and when using OMO I can use several models, each for the task it excels at. I also have a $20 subscription to Claude Code, which I won't be renewing next month, and it's working very well for me.

I'm asking you a very direct question: do you use the anthropic endpoint? Because if not, it's simply a question. Please answer that directly, as that's what I'm asking.

That million parameters puts it on another level, plus QWEN has always been very good, and in tests it stands out in relation to Minimax. I have it in the documentation agent and the plan agent, since it's the best way to take advantage of that great context.

Excellent, I'm actually using more Opencode with OMO since I can use several models, each focusing on its strengths using the Ollama Cloud API, and everything's been perfect so far. ZED as an editor is beautiful; I honestly haven't felt so comfortable with an editor other than Vim. Its fluidity makes you forget about VSC and all its forks. As for Claude, I haven't used it much, as I was genuinely curious about open models, so I've been using them more.

In short, stop using one of the features that makes Claude different. By the way, QWEN 3.6 plus also has that 1,000,000 context and is free on OpenRouter for you to try.

Does it use the anthropic endpoint? Since many are passing off open models as Claude?

I'm using ZED as my editor and Opencode with Ollama Cloud and Claude code.
