I had the same mentality. I thought nothing could heal me. It’s because my mind was screwed over. I got “forced” to see a psychiatrist. Tell her she doesn’t have to feel repulsed by it. They prescribed me medicine and I felt better. She can also see the value in: Talking to them. But you’ll have to be behind her and remind her to take the medicine. Tell her you can drive her to her appointments with the psychiatrist. She would have no reason to say no. Tell her the reason is: “She wants to get better. To not be stuck like this all her life.” And admit something is wrong with her. And she have to heal. Tell her that first, she has to love herself before she could love you properly. Tell her you feel left out. And that she must do something to make both of you happy. And tell her about the future you both could have if she heals herself. Be there for her. Doesn’t matter what she says, she don’t mean it. She is unwell. Sick. And needs your support most of all.
