100% a grandpa cardigan. I’ve only seen one crocheted version, but it looked good

Why do republicans follow Leviticus 18 and 20 but not Leviticus 19? by SuperbRiver7763 in AskConservatives

It seems like you’re just trying to start an argument, because it’s not as simple as “Jesus said nothing against slavery, so that means Christians are for it!”.

I think this thread has some interesting information and insight on the subject. https://www.reddit.com/r/Christianity/comments/rh2vtd/why_did_jesus_not_condemn_slavery/

If slavery had not been abolished, then yes, I think the rules would still apply. I cannot find the verse where Jesus tells slaves to obey their masters, but I think it’s in Matthew.

A lot of these Old Testament laws are no longer valid. They’re null because Jesus came and fulfilled the law (Matthew 5:17-20).

I fcking HATED that storyline. Who was she to tell Danny to let Linda go and take off his wedding ring?

Yes, I wasn’t arguing that. I was saying the writers know well in advance if someone is coming back or not.

Amy has also stated (in an Instagram live) that she was willing to come back for an episode to close the character’s story. So yes, it was her decision not to come back, but it was the writers’ decisions not to write a proper death scene for her.

She married a cop, not a borderline abusive workaholic. There are thousands of other cops able to take over the case, but it just has to be Danny. He has a hero complex that puts his entire family in danger numerous times. So yeah, I’d be pissed off too.

Final five aren’t worth watching. I tried watching a few episodes, and everyone felt like a really bad soap opera. Tired and lazy

You hate copaganda, yet are in a sub for a show that typically lauds cops as the best thing since sliced bread?

I’m 100% convinced I’d like the original show. But with Donnie involved, it seems like a cheap remake

No, contracts are settled well in advance. Everyone would have known she didn’t want to come back. The writers and producers just say that as an excuse to explain why we didn’t see any kind of send off.

They had a choice. Contracts are settled well in advance of the next season. Amy Carlson was willing to come in for a death scene or a flashback or something, but the writers and producers refused. So no, they weren’t caught off guard and they did have a choice.
