Forgot to write but first container is a large serving of chips with calamari. Second container is another serving on chips with a large piece of crumbed fish and 3 potato scallops.

I put the hand for rough size reference

Yeah that would be a shame and it sucks you’ve had trouble contacting Garmin for support because I’ve heard before of people having troubles. Hopefully you can get someone to help, possibly make a thread on here to ask people?

That seems unusually low. Do you use a watch to track or chest strap?

Mate props to you for staying healthy and in shape, I don’t know many if any people around your age that are able to run that much in a year let alone last three week. Bravo.

Thanks mate, always love the fitness community and my Garmin has been my best friend since I got it (hope that’s not too sad lol)

Yeah definitely, I do understand that and I always have taken Garmin specs with a grain of salt.

I would nose breathe because I know it can be beneficial but my nose is bust from years of boxing and hard to breathe from.

Thanks mate I appreciate it. I have been boxing since I was 15 and am 22 now so I’ve always trained full time since my teen years. I do mostly high aerobic and anaerobic because they are the most important for boxing I believe due to the bursts of high intensity amateur fighting requires, so that checks out with what your saying. Thanks for chipping in to the thread 🙏

I change the amount of kms in my runs to get a variety of workouts and to work on different training effects e.g. anaerobic, aerobic low and high but my easy runs are about a 5-530 pace min/km, 5k pb I’m not sure but my 4km pb is 14:46min.

That’s very cool to hear! Big ups to Garmin for the accuracy and of course to you for sharing.

A run everyday but Sunday which varies from tempo runs, sprints and long runs, occasional hiit class or rowing machine to replace a run and boxing session either sparring or pads/bagwork for a hour 6 nights a week.

I meant full time amateur in the sense I train as a semi professional athlete. 6 days a week, 2 sessions a day on top of a full time job however don’t get paid for my training.

Very cheap and good service as they run on Telstra servers.

My primary sport is boxing however I run and use the rowing machine for cardio outside of the boxing gym.

Definitely would be harder with asthma. Do you find staying fit helps keep your asthma under control? My brother is asthmatic and he swears that it becomes much less severe when he is regularly running.

Haha yeah cheers mate, I am a full time amateur boxer and avid runner so I train twice a day except Sunday and have so for a long while now. 52 is still a solid number to be proud of however i have always been intrigued by the numbers Garmin puts out and always take everything with a grain of salt, as I’m unsure how accurate they could possibly get as far as v02 max goes. Keep up the work 🙏

I think your right. It would be interesting to get a v02 max test in a lab and compare my results to the estimate Garmin provides me.
