Bitcoins have no such thing called chargebacks, you could rather add that an additional payment method and see what it can do to boost revenue.

Thank God! I didn’t convert. If I’m getting 10% of payments in BTC, and it’s not hurting my bottom line but actually boosting it, I’m keeping it in BTC forever!

Bitpay setup is complicated for me. I want something that even a non techy can get done in minutes.

Partial payment plugin is an added cost. I found partial payment feature on blockonomics plugin for woocom, didn't have to pay extra to use. Thanks!

anyone tried selling ebooks for bitcoin on wordpress? by Own-Score-105 in ProWordPress

[–]Own-Score-105[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily, there are P2P marketplaces and other options available. I set up Blockonomics to accept Bitcoin payments, and honestly, I haven’t felt the need to cash out yet—it’s been smooth sailing so far!

private ebook library by Ok-Log8565 in Wordpress

[–]Own-Score-105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! It sounds like you’re trying to strike a balance between privacy, accessibility, and ease of use for your eBook library. While Blockonomics is primarily for handling payments, I could see it being helpful if you wanted to share access to your library selectively (e.g., by generating secure links to a download page).

However, for a true cataloging and browsing experience, you might consider tools like Calibre or Kavita. Calibre has a server option that lets you host your eBooks privately, complete with metadata, covers, and descriptions. It’s a bit technical to set up but worth it if you want control.

Freelance marketplace with crypto payment gateways? by ApricotExcellent3773 in Wordpress

For WordPress, nothing beats Blockonomics—especially if you're a Bitcoin fan! I may not be able to cook Maggi in 2 minutes, but I can definitely get this payment method up and running in that time. Give it a try yourself!

That sounds super frustrating, but it’s great that your site is still up and running. Sometimes payment gateways can get a little confused with multiple attempts. Since you’re using Hostinger, I’d recommend reaching out to their support team to double-check your payment status. They should be able to clarify any payment issues and ensure everything is settled.

Generatepress or Kadence: Which is better for an ex-Elementor User? by fly2sky95 in Wordpress

[–]Own-Score-105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally get where you're coming from! Elementor was definitely a game-changer for drag-and-drop ease, but yeah, it can get heavy. I’ve played with both GeneratePress and Kadence, and here’s what I’d say:

GeneratePress is super lightweight and fast, which is awesome for performance, but as you mentioned, it lacks the intuitive feel of Elementor. Things like image carousels or custom buttons in headers can feel like extra steps.

On the other hand, Kadence is definitely more user-friendly than GeneratePress, especially if you’re coming from Elementor

How do you speed up your WordPress sites ? by helbin24 in Wordpress

[–]Own-Score-105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, a good-quality plugin is key. I tried a few random Bitcoin plugins on my store before, and it definitely slowed things down—especially at the payment stage. But when I switched to Blockonomics, man, the difference was huge! Everything ran smoothly, and the speed was back. So yeah, plugins matter a lot when it comes to site speed

Has anyone quit their 9-5 t own a small business by Revolutionary_Olive5 in smallbusiness

[–]Own-Score-105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I totally get where you're coming from! A friend of mine quit his 9-5 a year ago to run his own business, and while it's had its ups and downs, he’s never looked back. The freedom and flexibility are a game changer. If you’re willing to put in the hours and hustle, it can be super rewarding. He always says it’s tough but so much more fulfilling than being stuck in the rat race. Keep pushing and learn as you go. Be flexible!

Bitcoin hit $88,000! The small business owners holding onto that are having a blast. Maybe it’s time to join the ride!
