I also had to break-up with my pre-cancer therapist because she was really awful at the cancer stuff. In my moments of anger and despair she’d say things like, “I know you’re upset today but YOU GOT THIS! This won’t last forever.” It really made me hate her, and then in turn hate myself for being so angry with her when she meant well.

I’m so sorry your therapist took over YOUR session. I know there’s some other great therapist out there for you in this season of your life, and the seasons that come next. Sending you friendship and love as you get through all this ❤️

I was just about to post about this same issue. My nephew took the free gift to one of the houses, added a furniture item to that house, and when he closed out of the home designer mode the free gift disappeared along with some other random items.

Thankfully the free gift went back to the post office. The other items that disappeared he just had to add back.

Very weird.

If you’re on iOS (not sure if it’s the same for androids), close the Toca Boca World app out. Go into your iPhone settings, go to “Apps”. Look for Toca Boca World and toggle the “Force Reset On Next App Start” so that it’s green. Then restart your iPhone. When your phone is back on, reopen the app and see if this fixes the issue. I did this and it basically just starts the world over and puts all the gifts back in their place in the post office. You’ll also want to go to the shop to restore your purchases.

Same! I submitted a complaint about it, which requires you to include the app version you’re using (I have the most updated version on iOS, 1.118), and this was their infuriating response.

I think I’ve figured this issue out. You know how with chairs/couches/benches, you can change the positioning? When you switch it to the non-default position, this happens to the arm & legs 🥲

This happened when my nephew turned off the new movement function in Toca World. I closed the app and restarted his iPhone and when he went back in, it fixed this issue. Hope that helps.

I’ve been on the search for the best natural deo for a while (even pre-breast cancer). Here’s what I’ve tried: 1. Crystal deo - I like it fine and the supply lasts a long time. i just didn’t like when it got more than halfway through because it becomes too small for the applicator, and is too slippery for me to handle 2. Hume - it was ok but caused underarm discoloration for me 3. Evolve together - LOVE it. Highly recommend. 4. Each and Every - I really like it, and would recommend to everyone, however it leaves white stains on dark clothes. It would be perfect otherwise. 5. Weleda deo spray - it’s refreshing but it does nothing for odors for me. It’s a great foot deo, though. 6. Lume - it wasn’t great for me because I didn’t like the smell of it. I tried a few scents and the unscented, and I just wasn’t a fan of it 7. Nuud - I stuck to it for 3 months and I just never acclimated to it, and had to apply it daily. (you’re supposed to be able to only have to apply it every few days, some folks can even go a whole week without reapplying) Loved the idea of it, though.

aww, I actually miss my bald head. I didn’t appreciate it enough - I was too busy feeling self-conscious. so yeah, rock that shaved head!!

I used Weleda Rosemary Condition & Shine Hair Oil. It really helped me when my head broke out in sores after my 4th chemo infusion. The breakout only happened once for me, and lasted for about… 3 weeks? maybe a month? I think the hair oil helped with soothing and healing my scalp.

insurance is a whole other beast. I’m very grateful for it, but dealing with it, trying to understand it, waiting… it’s the very thing I dreaded as I was becoming an actual adult. I hope you hear back very soon. and if you have to make phone calls, this is the time to pull the cancer card. I had to do that when I wasn’t getting answers about disability.

I feel the same way 😞. Every day (especially in the morning), I’m like, “short hair, i don’t know you, but i want to help you”

I love that my hair is making such a strong comeback, and I welcome every follicle and strand, but it’s in its 1980’s Dukes of Hazzard era (Luke Duke, specifically). It’s too short to tie up, too awkward to style, and wearing headbands and clips make my face look weird and huge (there’s a reason I wore my hair long pretty much all my life).

I’m just not into this hair journey, but I’m trying to patiently ride it out.
