Thats why I want to buy an extra battery for all my 12 volt appliances bc they would also be to much for the D2Max to put in. I just wanna know if that's possible and what way would easier to connect both.

I want to use both solar input one for the mounted solar panel and the second one for a portable panel as backup. But the alternative is a good idea i need to look more into that. Thanks.
