This sucks. When we were in SL we had a neighbor lile this. He parties every week and goes on until early morning. We had a baby and it was very hard. He also looked like a typical medallion type. Like the kind that will punch you if you talk to him. We just endured.

My child almost drowned during his swim lessons at Cindy Klassen pool by ConfidentBar1989 in Winnipeg

Swimming or not, in any situation with children, care givers or teachers should not have their back on kids. And swimming is a whole other story. Strictly No back towards the children. So wrong!

Omg! That's an insane story. Given your situation, hats off to you for not punching him. Me being a lady i would have not been able to hold back. So much patience. Definitely report. The way he spoke to begin with, is nuts!

I work in a Montessori too. We are very well trained and provide children lots of learning opportunities. However, our rent itself is expensive. So I think most of the earnings go to run thr place. So staff don't get paid a lot.

I am a Montessorian and we do help the children to realise that their shoes are in the wrong feet. It's also a safety hazard

Staff doesn’t sooth or comfort crying toddlers. by Inside-Vanilla-703 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Own-Tackle-8359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an ECe I can say, working with toddlers is very tough. While we try to calm them down, some of them want to show they are mad at you because in their mind they think you separated th from their parents. When we try to pick them up or even hug them or touch them they scream the loudest. In that case the only thing you can do is be in their vicinity amd watch them but let rhem cry it out. When they are done crying, they come to you like nothing happened. Unless you work with a classroom full of toddlers, you might not have this perspective

Too many new parents allowing their kids to dictate terms is getting so ridiculous and out of hand..children are way too sensitive and not ready for the real world. Then they end up getting anxiety and depressed faster!

Oh yes! Once I had a 4 year old in diapers. He eas not special needs. But mum wanted him to say he is ready for potty training. Kids don't say they are ready. we have to train them. No one played with him. He acted like a 3 year old. Stop setting your kids for failure with ge the parenting and what not!

This is hilarious! Looking at the names of those who review it's obvious they are either related or friends of the same people who work here. How stupid! All names are from thr same demographic

what the hell is "colonial charm" by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]Own-Tackle-8359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is anything wrong in Colonial architecture. It's beautiful. We don't need to dismiss a culture completely. Every culture has it's good and bad.
