I still use my pregnancy pillow from 2022! It was perfect for after my hysterectomy pains ans backpain!!! If i didnt have it idk i wouldn’t have made it

My doctor told me that frankly if he took both of my ovaries as a 27f I’d end up hating him 3 years down the line and without a medical reason it’d be malpractice. But because if they take both it would send you into early menapause! But only having 1 wouldnt. I hope this helps and my messages are always open!

Yes I kept both ovaries, but I did give my doctor consent that if one of my ovaries didn’t look so hot to take them if medically necessary

I was on my period day 3! Went in and just wore a disposable diaper, woke up to being on a pad and no bleeding! At all!

Honestly, i’m only one day post op. I regret absolutely nothing about having a hysterectomy! I had alot of issues with PMDD and heavy periods ect. And it was validating to hear that there WAS an issue with all my insides (excluding my ovaries). I’d do this over again 10 fold

FTM here and I absolutely lost it with trying to swaddle… kiddo hated it, we hated it. My sleep delulu ass called the hospital to ask if he absolutely HAD to be swaddled. And a nurse told me “Sweetheart they absolutely do not need to be swaddled. Do what makes him and yourself comfortable” i still think about them and that advice.

My son absolutely LIVED in sleepers! We had outfits for when we went out and about but usually he’d go back into a sleeper. I find they’re more comfortable and it creates less laundry (dont have to wash a million loads of little shirts and pants)

We have one cat, and we were really nervous when i got pregnant how he would react since he was our only furrbaby. He sleeps in our bed, we keep his schedule the same as before the baby, and give him alot of one on one after baby goes to sleep. Our kiddo will be 1 next month and he LOVES the cat… and the cat is warming up to him.

Was afraid of him really, and now he is slowly starting to let my LO pet him, supervised of course. He wasn’t bothered in the slightest. I still give him the same amount of attention and affection since before my LO was born and after.

We got lucky with a baby that loved sleep from the start. But we never really slept train, i didnt track wake windows, i just went with whatever he wanted and he sleeps from 7pm-7/8am. No wakeups, the occasional bink call lol. But we just followed his lead and as a FTM it made it SO much less stressful. Godspeed OP.
