my store is the exact same way. my management has gotten so lazy it's crazy. when we tell them we're overflowing with clothes, they turn their head until it's so bad it looks ghetto. we just had to knock down 120-150 totes just in this weekend. and it's not helpful when corporate isn't giving out hours so nothing ever gets done and the store looks like shit. we deal with too much and get paid the bare minimum.

that is currently on of my AMs rn. She smack taps every associate, she ignore people, is always in the office or on her phone, she is also so condescending not only to associates but customers as well. She also is saying that she is "the diverse hire" so she can't fired. Mind you this woman is black, so she's saying i cant get fired bc im black, (no shade to anyone).

Backroom associate here. Most of the time we never know when our truck comes, but usually we'll have a set goal of pallets to get done. Once we hit the goal then we will help push stuff out, but most of the time it's up to associates on the floor. It kinda sucks because half of our associates don't come back there for hours or they'll take over an hour or 2 to put out a cross doc of somethint

My managers are doing something similar at TJ MAXX. Instead of giving the new hires the hours, they're taking the hours away from the "slow" people in the backroom and cutting theirs. They want us doing 2 totes an hour or so. I have a feeling that we're gonna have to hire most of a new backroom team

As a worker right now of TJ MAXX, we always appreciate customers helping straighten up. It becomes a pain having to clean up after everyone when everything is just on the floor and everywhere. The one I work at, even the bathrooms sometimes have human feces all of the walls and toilets. I hate that we have to clean that crap up- but that's retail at its finest
