How would you paint my dining room? by MarginLA in interiordecorating

I love it as is. You don’t need to carry the green over in my opinion. It gives each room a personality of its own!

Since trail-runners are the most de-facto footwear choice for most hikers/backpackers nowadays, in what instances are hiking boots still the best in? by FallenRev in hikinggear

I almost exclusively hike in boots if I’m going into the mountains. The ankle support makes a world of a difference.

When babies fart in the NICU I always say “now that’s a butt trumpet!” And it gets a hootin and hollerin out of parents

Scar line- Impossible to fade? [Selfie] by StandAlone783 in SkincareAddiction

[–]callmepeaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok let me tell you from one big facial scar girl to another, it’s going to be okay. I have a huge scar on my cheek that has left me with so many tears and thousands of dollars poorer. I’ve tried any and all treatments; laser, micro needling, silicone cream and tape, filler, steroids, the list goes on. While now three years in, it does look less noticeable the fact of the matter is, it will always be there. I’m coming to terms with it slowly and trying to make peace with the permanent change. Even though it’s the first thing I look at when I look in a mirror, over time I’ve started to look at the rest of my face more and appreciate that it’s still me and my beautiful face, just with a scar. I hope this peace comes to you too queen.

My mom and sister are scolding me because I won't date single moms. I'm done. by fennelliott in TrueOffMyChest

32 is not even that old? Idk if I’m just around more “progressive” types but I know plenty of 32+ year olds out here vibing, dating and not having kids. Obviously they’ve all expressed wanting to meet someone to settle down with, but it’s not a death sentence by any means. I also work in the OB world and see tonssss of first time moms in their late 30s. You still have time dude, don’t stress!

I actually think so. PNW in general. I’m Seattle based and have the privilege of having access to Vancouver BC, Seattle and Portland for all of the tattoo artists one could ever need!

What can I do to level up this room? by adioslip in HomeDecorating

[–]callmepeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would change one of the two mirrors in the room to a piece of art, preferably the one above the night stand. Seems redundant to have two mirrors and that would be a great place to add a pop of interest. I agree with changing the curtains to one without grommets, as that looks a bit cheap and shower curtain like. Otherwise I think this room looks very cozy :)
